    Trivia Pursuit

Rose Croix, and I can't even be a Mason. What's the Murdock Brasher?

Have you been eating enough cheese lately?

We had a cheese ball contest at work today, so therefore, yes. Plenty of nice, delicious, life-giving cheese.

    Design a tapestry

My wife found this link on somethingawful today, and since it seems to have rather spiffy game applications, I thought I'd post it here: http://www.adgame-wonderland.de/type/bayeux.php This little toy lets you create a medieval tapestry looking tableau using images taken from the Bayeux...

    D&D Memory Lane

I had a player once who was so paranoid about Explosive Runes that he burned (unopened) every book he ever found, especially enemy wizards' spellbooks. His wizards sucked, they didn't have many spells.

When PCs Have Children (My Game Needs a Nursery)

Man, Aeolius.. Your campaign is like some sort of huge haggy underwater soap opera. Days of our Tides, or One Life to Swim or something. Wacky!

DM needs help with unusual party mix(Errat players stay away)

I haven't got any advice, I'm afraid, since other people have already given some excellent ideas. However, I'm quite interested in how your experiment goes -- I had considered making all my players make their characters without any discussion between them, so we wind up with a more...

    High level NPC's and rarity

Zero-level? That is soooo Second Edition, man. I've got the same problem, it seems weird to have so many high level NPCs all of a sudden. I'm using tough-ish monsters with class levels mostly instead.

[OT] Gotta Brag on my Brother

Now you just need to convince him to start coming here, so he can answer a bajillion questions about how to get published in Dungeon! Woo! Hehe

    poop

Yep, dung-sifting. Big time moneymaker, if you know how to do it. It's not as easy as it looks sometimes, though. Sure, when you're talking about a constrictor snake or something small, yeah that's no problem. However, those Search DCs really pile up when you're talking about a high-volume...

    I just realized that....

You want a cool demon prince? Demogorgon. Orcus, pah. Just a fat slob zombie-kisser.

How often are metamagic feats used by PCs in your campaign?

None of my players have even ever taken the feat. I've used them a couple of times as a DM, though. But still, not very often.

    EnWorlders of Color

Well, the NAACP still uses "Colored People", and the United Negro College Fund of course uses "Negro". However, those two organizations have been around a goodly while, too, so I don't know.

    How would you feel?

That would really annoy me, and if the DM said she could have that background without consent from all the other players, then that'd really annoy me a lot. I'd be tempted to take some sort of revenge on that character at some point in the adventure, one that resulted in that character's...

    EnWorlders of Color

Standard child of Albion here, hah. Far as anyone in my family knows, there's nothing but Ireland, Scotland, and England (and precious little of England) in the family tree. This despite one of my great-grandfathers having been named "Alberto". They just liked the name. As for my gaming...

    Ten rules for player conduct

I'd like to add "I won't show up to the game too drunk and / or otherwise intoxicated to play" That one bugs me.

How much honey? (Ahhh, Halfling Chefs!)

Oh, yeah, surinam toads are really cool. As for location of those rhododendrons, all I know is that they're found in the Black Sea region (Pontus, where Mithridates was king) and in Nepal. I'm pretty sure rhododendron will grow in the U.S., though who knows about varieties.
