How Many Minis Do You Have?

Probably the thing I love the most with the 1,700 pre-painted WotC minis I have is that I almost always have the exact mini we need for our game. As the years have passed there are more monsters I don't have, simply because they didn't exist at the time the pre-painted minis I have were made...

How Many Minis Do You Have?

I voted 1,000+ This is made up of: Over 1,700 D&D pre-painted minis (the original ones, not the WizKids ones). About 500 plastic Reaper Bones minis. Most of these are unpainted, but I've made an effort lately to paint more. About 200 metal fantasy miniatures from Reaper and Stonehaven...

RPG Print News – Columbia Games, Raging Swan, WizKids, and More

It's funny the different values we place on items. My first thought on seeing the docks was "Wow, that's overpriced!", but I guess I don't place much value on the pre-painted stuff, even more so now that I have a 3D resin printer.

    Does TSR3 Have Nazi Connections?

Surely people aren’t still surprised that TSR3 are just as horrible as we thought they were right at the beginning?

    Games with "terrible" follow-up editions

I’ve only ever played the 4th edition, but it was wacky fun. Were the first 2 editions wacky or serious?

    Games with "terrible" follow-up editions

This was going to be my suggestion, but apparently every edition of Paranoia has been perfect. The computer told me so.

What are your five post-apocalyptic RPG books?

This is a tough one. I’d like to get several systems, but most games split their core books up these days. Ideally I’d like 1 fantasy RPG, 1 horror RPG, maybe a lighter action RPG like Feng Shui and something like Paranoia that can be played straight or for laughs.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Misspent Youth, Ultimate Treasury, Emerald Templars, and more

That’s awfully specific, but doesn’t surprise me with Nintendo.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Misspent Youth, Ultimate Treasury, Emerald Templars, and more

I wonder what 1-Up are doing differently with their Kickstarter this time to avoid Nintendo’s wrath?

The Dragon on the front cover of The Dragon’s Hoard magazine looks like it has Easter eggs for wings and now I can’t unsee it!

Steamforged Games Apologizes & Reprints Dark Souls Books

Given the errors, I highly doubt it.

Steamforged Games Apologizes & Reprints Dark Souls Books

I would suggest that it’s poor customer service that they’re trying to improve on. Good customer service would be proofreading your rule book for basic errors like this before sending it to the printers.

TSR TSR3 Throws In Towel, Rebrands Wonderfilled

I’m not sure what WFD stands for, but I feel like your guess is missing at least 6 typos in it! 😂

I totally get that, but the price of PDFs seem to have gone up significantly in recent times.

D&D 5E (2014) What Are Your Favorite D&D Monsters (MM Edition)?

I voted for a heap and realised I still left several off. Going through the list made me realise that I voted for mainly the classic D&D monsters, maybe because that’s what I think of when I think of D&D.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Lairs & Legends, TOKYO : OTHERSCAPE, Shield Maidens, and more

Thought about backing the Legends & Lairs Kickstarter. Then I checked the pledge levels. $100 for the 2 PDFs and map pack is way beyond my price point, but it’s well and truly funded, so clearly enough people think that’s a decent price. Have costs really gone up that much that people will pay...
