Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

What was embarrassing about the live demo?

Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

Cheers. So, based on the quotes, the integration wasn’t that easy?

Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

More how did Sigil differ from Fantasy Grounds or Roll20?

Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

How did WotC’s offering differ from Fantasy Grounds or Roll20?

Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

Yep, hence my comment about it being the free square. It’s amazing how many times they’ve tried and failed at this sort of thing. In some ways it’s impressive that they’ve found so many ways to fail at it.

Has Wizards of the Coast Given Up on Sigil?

Did anyone have yet another failed WotC digital tool on their bingo card? It should be pretty much the free square at this point, given how many times they’ve tried and failed at one electronic product or another.

Score +2 For Million Dollar Crowdfunders!

Backerkit seems to be a place for established creators and IP to use (presumably because the lower traffic of Backerkit is offset by the fact that they have an established base that will find them anyway. I can only assume Backerkit has a smaller cut of the proceeds.

PDF prices have risen too. Lots of PDFs seem to be in the $30-50 USD range.

RPG CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Nat19, Festival of the Forgotten, One HONK Two Furious, and more

Festival of the Forgotten appeals as I love Dark Carnival themes, but the fact that it's just barely hit the $50k needed to fund has me very wary.

Shadowdark Setting Looks Set To Be 2025's First Million Dollar TTRPG Crowdfunder

Definitely curious about this, despite having never played or read any of the Shadowdark stuff before.

D&D 5E (2014) Which was the most recent Wizards adventure you consider a classic?

We had so much fun with all the stuff in the jungle prior to finding and entering the tomb. I have no idea how much stuff was added by our DM vs what was as written, but I loved it all. The final fight with Acerarak felt a bit powergamey and weird, but the Omu stuff was awesome.

Dungeons & Dragons Comments On Possibility of Future Movie Projects

That’s a bit disappointing. I was heavily sceptical about the D&D movie, but I was happy to eat humble pie after seeing it. It was both entertaining to watch and a good representation of D&D with tonnes of Easter eggs.

Evil Genius Games Attempts To Remove Bad Press [Update--And Then Adds Legal Threats!]

It’s ok. Those types of people generally think they know better than others anyway, so they’re very unlikely to follow any advice given to them.

Evil Genius Games Attempts To Remove Bad Press [Update--And Then Adds Legal Threats!]

I was wondering what dumb stuff Ernie Gygax has gotten himself into now!

RPG Crowdfunding News – MythCraft, .DUNGEON, Xcrawl Olympics, and more

The XCrawl Olympics kickstarter has definitely piqued my interest. Unsure if I’ll back it, but it sounds up my alley.

RPG Crowdfunding News – The Ace of Spades, Deadlands Audiobook, We Dig Giant Robots, and more

Surely the time of year has something to do with it. Christmas/New Year’s would be a terrible time to launch a crowdfunding campaign.

WotC Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer Is A New UK Magazine To Teach D&D

60 sets of dice is wild. Clearly cheap to stuff in.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Ashes Without Number, HEDGE, Cyberpunk RED, and more

Ashes without number and the game mastering book both appeal to me, but I really struggle to justify paying $40 AUD for a PDF (and shipping costs to Australia make hard copies much more expensive). It’s like I’m basically priced out of the market.
