Yeah, I realised the double meaning of that when I was posting. Do they print different themed money for each set?

Well they’re not spending any money on development at this point. Any new rules would take minimal time to come up with. It’s just a new board, design a few different playing pieces and print free money for them.

Who the heck is buying them though. I’ve already got one crappy version of Monopoly in my house that never gets played. Why would anyone need more than that?

Yeah, but all the D&D digital offerings so far have been nothing but resounding successes! 😂😂😂

Yeah, but if ever there was a product that you could describe as being in the “maturity to decline” phase of its product life cycle, surely that is Monopoly. That they can get double-digit gains out of it at this point just astounds me.

I also wonder what they mean by digital plans. Are they going to be sponsoring streaming games? Or creating tools for digital online play? Or something else?

Ok, what I want to know is how the heck did Monopoly have double-digit growth? Seriously???

Critical Role Wildemount: Most Pre-orders Since D&D Core Rulebooks

Ok, that makes sense. Does the Green Ronin book deal with overarching setting stuff like gods? Or does that vary by continent too?

    TSR Theon's Underwear Experience

I thought you were going to say that you realised your watch was set to the wrong time, which is why you kept getting what you thought were 5am wake up calls. How did 3 different hotels get it wrong?

Critical Role Wildemount: Most Pre-orders Since D&D Core Rulebooks

For someone with zero Critical Role knowledge, how does this book “fit” with the Green Ronin Critical Role book? Is the Green Ronin book a whole world guide a la Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and this book will just focus on one small section a la Sword Coast Adventurers Guide?

Critical Role Wildemount: Most Pre-orders Since D&D Core Rulebooks

I didn’t play 4E D&D, but I found the Gamma World editionthat used the 4E D&D rule set as its base fit Gamma World really well. The randomly changing abilities also fit nicely.

Critical Role Wildemount: Most Pre-orders Since D&D Core Rulebooks

I’ve not seen much Critical Role, so won’t be getting this book. However, I’m stoked to see D&D continuing to sell really well and I’m also happy that Critical Role fans get a book based on the setting. Winning all around.

Pay What You Want (But Please Pay Something!)

I think part of the issue with PWYW is there are likely a heap of people that "buy" a PWYW item, but then never actually read or potentially never even download the PDF. Personally I think I've "bought" over a dozen PWYW items for $0.00, but may have only downloaded a couple of them and likely...

    D&D General $299 D&D Anniversary Sapphire Dice

I also have no issue with WotC selling these dice either, despite not being in the target market for it. If some people buy them and enjoy them, more power to them.

A problem with the miniatures industry.

Hard Eight have tonnes of one legged dwarf minis for sale!

    D&D General $299 D&D Anniversary Sapphire Dice

Lab grown sapphires doesn't seem to be very expensive at all - Lab Created Blue Sapphire, Synthetic Blue Sapphire, Created Blue Sapphire Round Shape This place sells lab-grown sapphires that are 5mm in diameter for $1.30 USD each (well, technically $26 USD for 20). So if WotC is buying 2,000...
