World Anvil looks pretty cool. It seems very similar to Obsidian Portal, but with a few more useful tools to use.

Well at least this explains my confusion about the GF9 Monster Cards. When I saw them with a release date of February I was starting to wonder if I was seeing things, as I swore that I had already seen them for sale at a local gaming store. Good to know I wasn't going crazy! :-D

I voted minis and terrain, but honestly I'd be happy with anything. In all my years of DMing, the only think I ever received as a gift from a player was a d100 (which was very gratefully received).

Yep, I too am very keen to know whether the map packs are worth it, or if I'm just paying for a loose-leaf reprint of the maps in the book.

Nice work! Do you know what the map pack maps will look like? Are they just loose leaf reprints of the maps you drew for the hardcover? Or are they a different size or different maps?

Has any information come out about the Map Pack that is being released at the same time? I’m trying to figure out whether it will help in running the campaign or if it is just reprinting maps in loose leaf format?

They also haven’t released a setting book in years. The last setting book they released (and the only one in 5E) was done by a third party.

I miss the 2E morale rules. I wouldn’t try and put them on the PCs, but I think it is good for monsters to not fight to the death every single time. Yes, I could rule on it ad-hoc, but I liked the 2E system where different monsters had different levels at which they would flee (I.e. Goblins...

This is fairly standard for a nicely detailed and well cast mini of that type (which the GF9 ones are). There are plenty of similar minis that are sold for much higher that that.

I’ll be buying at least one for my 10yo and 8yo to try out. They’ve loved the kids RPGs I’ve played with them, so I think they will enjoy these too.

I’m in Australia and have had nothing but fantastic dealings with Noble Knight Games. I’d definitely recommend them.

So don’t buy it then. I already own the core rule books and won’t be buying this set as I don’t feel the need to rebuy them to get the slipcase or the collector’s editions. However, there are people out there that do want that, so I’m happy for them that the product will now be available.

Stoked to see the IDW comics bundle. It’s an absolute bargain at that price.
