At the embarrassment of entering this discussion a month late, I would like to add my 0.02. :o I use a house rule where everyone (PCs and NPCs) die at -(CON score) and are disabled at 0 to -(CON modifier). This means your average commoner with a CON of 10 still dies at -10 and is disabled at 0...

When trying to qualify for a PrC, can you take the PrC the same level as you gain a feat prerequisite (assuming, of course, you fulfill all other prereqs such as skill ranks or BAB)?

It is both PC and Mac (and Linux too, according to Amazon) but Mac users won't see the release till sometime in the fall. That is, if it doesn't pull something like BG did and two &#!% years to port.

I'd have to agree. I was in a campaign and we encountered... I'm not sure if it was actually a halfling barbarian, but it was short and frothed at the mouth and did a scary amount of damage. We ran.

There's actually also a player in my campaign who is a Rogue 6/Paladin 2. Granted, his concept was more the swashbuckling carefree scoundrel type than thief (until a jail term dampened his spirits.... :p but that's another story) but it works. Makes for the occasional odd juxtaposition though...

Good Lord, the errata and the editing. Bad game mechanics I can deal with. Been doing it since 2e. :p But when I have to wade through misplaced tables, inconsistent or incomplete entries, obsolete references, etc. as well, it gets a little... trying at times. :rolleyes:
