um... well my 2 cents are deffinatly give the first Feist/Wurts book a read. I loved the whole series (much more than the rest of feist stuff after magician). Its a slightly different setting and has some good political intrigue. But if nothing else I wish I had more time to read some of these...

I've been wondering the same thing. More for PC names than anything else. There have been some good articles in Dragon but does any one else know of a aite where you can find names?

ok I'm starting to see a bit of a trend here. Those that don't like bards and those that do. As far as I can tell the don't are against them cause they are too broad, and not specific enough. If you have a party with a cleric then why bother with a bard right? but i think in terms of a rp...

well actually you can sing and fight at the same time. either with melee or ranged. you just can't cast spells. and the effects last for 5 rounds after you stop singing. so really a bard can be usful in a fight.

just to add my 2 cents. the bard needs a few more skill points. not as many as the rogue but a couple. I mean they are primarily skill based characters!

Thats true I guess. But its just as easy for your bard to go running round the country side, tell stories and singing/playing songs in small town inns finding out all the local gossip. Thats what my bard has been doing and it works a treat! I was thinking that it may be because of they just...

Hi all. I'm mainly posting this to see if there is any interest out there. My DM and I have been left a little short after our two other gamers up and left for overseas. so if there are any gamers out there interested in joining a long term, original campaign let me know. :)

i have to admit that i'm very partial to the old half-elf, but my new PC is a halfling who are very cool (check out all the racial feature!!!) but i've got an idea for a dwarfish monk... could be cool. i've never wanted to play a human particularly.. i mean i already am a human so why not do...

thanks for all of your comments. I may take a level or two in combat orientated class, but i have to say i'm liking the idea of being a little sneaky. my last character was an out and out fighter. again thanks for all your ideas. i'll bring them up with my DM. :D

i like this idea.. i'll mention it to him. :D i'm also big on roleplaying, but sometimes the others i play with aren't, so it might be good to let me play with that aspect of dn'd for awhile.

thanks for your comments. i'm hoping that i woun't be playing solo for too long. one of the things i like the most is the interaction with other players and their characters.

i have a bit of a delema. i play in a campaign which is always small. but all the other players are leaving/ or already left the country. so its looking a lot like the DM and I are the only ones left. so i'm going to be playing solo for a while. i was just wondering what people thought of this...
