Would You Purchase a d20 print product that was free online?

Nope. Save a tree, use a computer ... And I'd also prefer buying a setting on cd than on paper. (preferably on database format) Don't get me wrong, I have 1000+ books in my library but if I have the choice, I go for electronic support.

How have you lost the most gaming books?

My complete set of 1e AD&D were stolen in a bar. Along with the implantation plans for the TGV (high speed train). I was more worried I had lost my books than to have to face my boss the next day. The saddest part is that I never had the oportunity to buy back the Fiend Folio and Unearthed Arcana.

[Scarred Lands; semi-poll] The Next Big Titan

Kadum, just to see what you would come up with. That would be a challenge for writers and players alike, IMO. But honestly, any one would do. They're all great.

When Bad Luck Strikes... and Persists

Now that I got my breath back and the control over my body ... One of my friends had the same problem years back and the solution he found was using a programmable pocket calculator. The DM had to test it for a while but his average rolls improved.

    Best and Worst Settings?

For me Planescape and Scarred Lands are really good. Shame I never played in Dark Sun. I really like that kind of settings. As for thre worst: It was called "L'Oeil Noir" in French but I think it's the same game. And I have to totally agree with Lars.

Do any of these characters sound fun to play?

My votes go to - Krevian - Sir Auroch of Lathander But I would have difficulties choosing between those two.

    Time for a D&D Good Idea/Bad Idea!

Good Idea: Casting a Fireball on charging trolls Bad Idea: In a marsh full of gas The wizard had spent half an hour to make sure no torches, lanterns, ... were lit. The next minute the DM says that trolls are charging. So he gets up and shouts "Fireball!!!" I'll never forget that.

    your favorite word for "command"

Obey! This trick allows you to make longer sentences before casting the spell (not in combat situations though).

    scarred lands

The French version of the Secrets & Societies refers to this. D20 magazine It contains the prestige class for the Crimson Legion. But as the book is unavailable anywhere near my place, I was hoping someone could mail me a copy of it. Thanks anyway. ;)

    scarred lands

And me starting to hope ... More seriously, I was browsing through Secrets & Societies and I'm a bit bothered. I only found the book in French  and for the Scarlet Legion (approximative translation) they say the associated prestige class can be found in a magazine. Is it the same in the...

Discworld d20 - Anybody want to chip in?

Don't forget something. The series continues... TP gives skills to the characters as needed. You are sure now that the wizards can have skills like Scrying but they can also have Ice Skating. Who knows? No even TP, IMO. I tried in my time to convert the Discworld to D&D and I failed. Mainly...
