(OT) Translating from English to German or Spanish

ROFLMAO ! Most of the words are french. But it doesn't mean anything. If I hadn't seen the original text, I couldn't even make out what it is you're talking about. A good laugh though. :D I only hope my English dosn't look like that to English speaking people.

Our first D&D game of the new year

Here too. The whole party killed. I hate Rangers that charge before thinking. Even more than Barghests. At least it happened early, so we had the whole evening to create new PCs.
  5. The Grey Dwarf

    How old are you?

36 here. Started playing in '81 ... and lost a character for the first time this Saturday. :(

[OT] All you French speakers, help me out...

Re: Re: [OT] All you French speakers, help me out... I like that one. :D Sadly enough, the Google translation is only words put toghether. It doesn't mean anything in French. The closest you can get from that is "Va te faire foutre.'
  7. The Grey Dwarf

    So where are you from?

Cool map. A bit small, maybe. I had some difficulties clicking on my country. ;)

[OT] All you French speakers, help me out...

Sorry. ;) Le français reste malgré tout une langue fort prisée au niveau diplomatique. Elle est cependant en lutte avec l'anglais qui gagne du terrain chaque jour. ;) The same problem with my colleague. Plus the fact that he keeps on separating letters instead of merging them to form...

    'Origin' of Your User Name

I've been called a "Garden Ornament" since I grew a beard. (Neither thin nor tall, you see) It was the first name that came to my mind when I had to register.

[OT] All you French speakers, help me out...

I know how it is... :D One of my colleages is Spanish (but from Miami) and is currently learning French. His main problem is getting around the fact that the same letter can change pronounciation according to the letters around it. It seems your French is way better than his, though.
  13. The Grey Dwarf

[OT] All you French speakers, help me out...

On se reverra en enfer. ;) But without the context it's quite difficult to create the appropriate sentence.

[OT] All you French speakers, help me out...

L'amitié n'est qu'un mot. Edit: I don't think there's something more final than "adieu". ------ By the way, for those who understand French, here's a good one: Dongeon de Naheulbeuk

What is the oldest self-produced RPG material you still have?

I have: - D&D Basic Rules Set (1981) - Return to Brookmere (Endless Quest Book, TSR, 1982) - Hârn Regional Module (Boxed Set, Columbia Games, 1984) There is more in my attic but I'm too lazy to search. ;)
