Hmm, as a DM I would say... 1) Yes, much like a wall of force only thinner. 1a) I would say yes because I like creative gameplay. 1b) I think cover provides a bonus to AC, so anything that beats that AC harms the "covered" person. The disk itself is force and does not follow rules for...

We have had no problems at our game table. Kent and I are the only people willing to DM the campaign and neither of us have any interest in 4E. That said when Pathfinder comes out we will probably make the move there, as I see some of the Pathfinder rules already creepying into our session.

The license itself does nothing to the consumer. The consumer may not be presented with the kinds of choices they are used to but that's a decision the 3PP need to make. It would be good to talk to them though, I think Paizo did an excellent job of this.

I'm sure there will always be room for people to help out.
