whew! internet dropped out suddenly for a few days but it is back and I missed a lot. Just want to point out that we American's deliberately misspell most of those words to distinguish ourselves from the Imperials *snicker*. And over the years we've added so many rules and exceptions to the...

    Battle at Harkon Manor

Lurik directs the villagers to his sides "Hold up the wall, or whatever pieces you can until just before they reach us then topple it over on the Treylor to distract them. Then be prepared to fight!" and finishes his attack of arrows on the invading elves. Init 20 HP 11/11 AC 15/19 = 10 +...

so do we have the option of pushing it over on the treylor at the last minute before they crash into it? say a readied action?

still a few rounds of my actions left my first new action will occur in round 14 Assuming a 'too heavy' wall doesn't smash me first.

By my calculations that is 85 feet long (more than my original estimate. What you mean is that this is one of those "fudging it" things to manipulate the situation because you need to change something. so, are the barriers going to do us any good in melee or not?

not to get too technical, but just how many archers are there. Far as I can tell there are 100, that means that dispersed on the ground around marko's previous position and the barrier are no more than 900 arrows (135pounds) so i have to wonder why this barrier, if it offers any protection at...

    Battle at Harkon Manor

I still have 4 rounds of arrow shots left, and then I'll hold the bless until Brend's ends(what level is he casting at btw so we know duration) Looks like i just gained a cLw sacrifice

    Battle at Harkon Manor

Deciding it is better to take advantage of the long approach and get a few shots off, Lurik imbues his bow with arcane power and makes his shots, the final one staring into the eyes of his target, but hitting the barrier instead. With the enemy at the wall, his contributions are less than...

Relaxing his grip on his bow, Lurik waits as the Treylor slowly advance rather than charge the barricade. Init 20 HP 11/11 AC 15/19 = 10 + 1 (dex) + 4 (spell) +4 (cover) Weapon Attack Damage Critical Range Longbow +1+1+1+1 1d8+1+1 x3 100ft...

To the first part, the treylor did not satisfy any of my conditions for me to loose my arrow, so no I did not shoot with 'everyone else' I will continue to hold my shots for what looks to be another 7 or 8 rounds. To the second, I do remember asking you something about shooting over or through...

I'd never play a scout either, Far easier to multiclass to get the front line edge with the trap-finding.

I'd second the idea for the dragon shaman, as far as inspiration and front line stuff goes. Another option of course, if you want to fulfill the rogue place and be a little more active in the battle is the Scout, from complete adventurer, though not a great one for jumping into this battle.

    Battle at Harkon Manor

Rethinking his positioning, Lurik directs the villager behind him to trade him places, knocks an arrow to his bow and waits for a good shot at the advancing army. (And takes minor satisfaction at the excellent shot he might be about to make) 5'step trade with v at 5,6, Ready action to shoot...

Not talking about d&d movement rules, I'm talking about trigonometry and the length of the hypotenuse of an isosceles right triangle with 15' or 20' legs. the hypotenuse of the 15' legs is about 21' so 20' works to provide cover on that line, but with 20' legs it's 28' and you have 8' on the...

So from the RG and the map I'm going to assume that none of the villagers or men at arms have crossbows. The map only shows the first 75' of my 100' range, can you let me know when the elves get into 100' range? the new map side barricades are larger, 20' to a side making them closer to 30'...

sorry, no discussion here, all chiefs no Indians, all ideas and no follow-through, except Marko but he had his own plan anyway. Plan A "kill stuff" Plan B "kill more stuff", doesn't take any materials he doesn't actually have, and doesn't require anyone else to care/help. Probably why Lurik has...
