Great update. So at this point how big did the party think the enemy forces where? 5-10? 10-20? or more. I know that the players hinted in the last thread that there was a 2 session long running battle so it seems the enemy must be quite powerful. Keep up the good work.

I have to say theres two types of posts I've seen on modules by players. One is the almost no spolier can our group survive/what should I play. The other is asking for more detail information about the challanges. I think you should read the thread and to do the least work, just change anything...

You can stop the stop watch now. This group which I think is imangary is based on baldurs gate II. Reconize everyone but the human fighter.

I have only the epic level handbook but I'm almost certain that their is no offical rule on this. Also you can't go by the levels of the gods as the epic level handbook says that if you use the epic rules your want to toughen up the gods. Still the dm is free to houserule this as he wishs.

Not sure about the animal growth part but the 3.0 druid looses all their powers for 24 hours when the use a weapon from outside their normal list which includes wildshape so you don't have to worry about the spiked chain.

What I like the least is the druid wildshape changes. Loosing scent hurts. However the new class abilitys and natural spell will make up for it I guess. Still I feel sorry for any shifters out there.

My favorite is in the cyclopes entry in my 2nd editon monster manul. It said instead of throws rocks for 4d10 damage, throws rocks for 410 damage. Ouch!

Ouch just Ouch. Remind me to never die, I don't think that if you sell every last peice of equipment on my body that with the half price it would barely equal 5000. So I'll be suffering a level loss and loosing all my good equipment. A new character is cheaper.

I agree that bone shards is extremely nasty. A low level character has no chance of making that save. And if you send a swam of these even a high level group would die. My recomendations take out the spawn abilitys and put it at +1 cr for 1-4 hd +2 for 4+ hd. But I'm not experinced in templates.

The binding broke on both my PHB and my MM. But I also have a second copy of the PHB.

No do not order from them. In january I ordered seas of blood from them got an order accepted and waited two weeks before I called them and found out that they never had it in stock and never told me when ordering. So I cancled my order and they still charged the credit card. Argh!
