As a player, I always end up choosing to not be brought back. I don't want to play the same char a level lower, but a different one a level lower is fine. As a DM, I like to make the choice available to the player. So far one has been new PC-ified and the other was raised and brought back to...

I won't say that it is not a viable, or even quite effective build. But 10th level may be quite a long time to wait.

Just try having an argument with a wizard 10. All that arcane study gives them mighty big egos. Alos wiz10 ain't that quick.

I'll second this. Those listed abilities are achieveable at first level, even, if you're human. It also includes feats for the 'Dragon Fist' attack or any signature 'power move' with psionic fist, psionic weapon, unavoidable strike, depimpact ... I'm sure there's more. It's all in the SRD.

On a scale of 1 to cool, I still rate a super-awesome. ... DnD stats? Str 11 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 11 Wis 14 Cha 10 hm. 26 via point buy. Don't think I'll go adventuring.

After reading this thread, I'm curious as to the implied big change caused by the THIRD ITERATIVE ATTACK. All the posts make sense to me except this one. Thanks.

Maybe the problem with power attack is the lack of feats that make the other fighting styles as mechanically attractive. Maybe there is room for a sword-and border feat that allows better use of the shield(add strength bonus to AC when holding a shield, for example). Or a 'harry' maneuver...

I haven't seen any paladins having difficulty with the code, whether I was a player or a DM. Variant interpretations are easier to reconcile in a face-to-face setting.

I would like to see something describable by the phrase "A minute to learn, a lifetime to master". Something that you can more 'jump in and play' so that it is not so daunting to new players, yet compexity is there for those who want it as well as the potential for the uber-satisfying RPG...
