Boston EN World game day on Saturday, January 29th

Hey Wulf, Will you have copies of Slavelords of Cydonia on hand as well? I'd like to buy one, but I don't see the point in paying shipping costs if we're going to be seeing you at Boston Games Day. Thanks. -Tom

    Farscape D20 - Scenario Ideas?

You, sir, are my new hero. Thanks for the link. I am so totally prepared!!! And thanks for the words of wisdom on the rules and errata. My group tends to gloss over a lot of the rules, so I am not anticipating too much trouble. Thanks again! -Tom

Sidewinder Recoiled + OGL Steampunk = Wild Wild West?

Deadlands already incorporates a lot of Steampunk elements already. And there's a D20 version availible. (I got mine used for half price) That being said, OGL Steampunk looks pretty sweet. My copy is supposed to arrive tomorrow! :) Good luck, partner!

    Farscape D20 - Scenario Ideas?

So today is my wife's (Fluffaderm) birthday. She has recently become a Farsape nut and loves RPGs, so I got her the Farscape D20 game as one of her gifts. I have not looked through the book yet, but I have seen the first three seasons of the show. I'm going to run this game (it's a present...

New years gaming revolutions! what you'd like to hear

Well, that would be a revolutionary use of the word. :p I also crack myself up. And I crack Pirate Cat up. And he cracks me up. My revolution for 2005 is "no more crack".

What I love about this game

Right on! I don't play video games, but I often glean inspiration from commercials for them. Same goes for Anime. And trust me, if your parents got you something even that tangientally related, be grateful. What my parents got me was...was...they mean well.

Boston EN World game day on Saturday, January 29th

Hey P-Cat! That's cool. As you can imagine, for DragonMech, I would need a lot of table space anyway, for all of the mechs. Maybe next time. And my preference is to be a player. I am all for giving the youngbloods a shot. ;) (and Deadlands with you, me, Fluffaderm and DaveLozzi...

Boston EN World game day on Saturday, January 29th

Thanks! Thanks for the summary, Pirate Cat! (and the heads up, Dave Lozzi) So, it looks like lots of spots still open. Cool! Can you please add myself and Fluffaderm into All Flesh Must be Eaten in the morning and Deadlands in the afternoon? Unless you get overbooked with players, in which...

Three Page Confusion Please help! Can someone (P-Cat?) break down what games are running, what games have vacancies and do you need another GM to run? I just read through the three pages and my big bald head is spinning! Kev, if you need another GM, I have a DragonMech adventure...

    new Judge Dredd 2e

If I heard correctly, the new Dredd movie is a British production. The Stallone movie was ok, but not great, in my opinion. The D20 game I have enjoyed immensely. So far, I've run it maybe six times and don't see the need for a 2nd edition. As for compatability, if the new stuff is not D20...

    Judge Dredd d20?

I've run it about a half a doxzen times or so, and we've always had a real blast with it. I think the only supplement worth getting, on the other hand, is the Psi-Judges' guide. At least so far... Now with Mongoose releasing a Mega-City One skirmish miniatures game, we will also have plenty...

Tell me about your House Rules for Action Points

Grim Tales We use the Action Point table from Grim Tales. So far, so good. Also, I introduced two new Feats. Action Hero lets you use 2 APs in a round (not on the same action). Minimum level 4th. Legendary Action Hero lets you use 3 APs in a round (not on the same action). Minimum level...

    [D20 Future] My Pharon Slayer

This dude is going to be a bad guy in my D20 Future Space Opera game (in addition to being used in a mini wargame). http://www.bisbeecon.com/slayer96.jpg I didn't have time to re-size the pic, so I just posted a link. Feedback always appreciated.

[d20 Future] War of the Worlds (History of the Wars, More Martian Tech added 10/1)

Love this thread! Just wanted to share what I'm doing with it, as my notes for next game are shaping up nicely. __________________________________________________________ As I stated before, my heroes are on Mars, in the early 1900's. To get back to thier own time and Earth, they need the help...
