What nice things has a fellow EN Worlder done for you?

Pirate Cat introduced me to Dave Lozzi. Dave Lozzi introduced me to Diabolus. Diabolus got me the best job I've ever had (where I am now). Not to mention all the times PC has had my wife and I over his house, the dozens (hundreds??) of great games we've had, etc... Oh, and Dave Lozzi gave me a...

This game is ridiculous -- same problems for years

I would LOVE to play in this game! Holy crap! I am dead serious. Can you imagine the games it took to GET to this point? Awesome. Hell, I may have to run this game! Mallus, I assume I'll see you there. ;) -Tom

Fully Painted Warforged Necromancer (that I sculpted)

Hmmm, interesting question. Well, I buy my green stuff in bulk, so that probably cost me about .50 cents, if that. The copper wire armature probably cost even less than that. The skull is from a Reaper skull pack. As one of eight, it also probably set me back about .50 cents. The scabbard...

Need a farewell gift for my gaming group

Just to be clear, Smootrk, I was recommending a group pictures of the characters, not the Players. Not every group is going to want to fress up in costume and sit for a picture. That being said, neat idea! If you can get it together it could be VERY memorable! -Tom

Need a farewell gift for my gaming group

Garboshnik kind of touched on this, but a commissioned group picture of the adventuring group would probably go over big. I was going to suggest custom mini's, but you may run into time deadline issues with that. And yeah, a TPK always says you care. -Tom

Fully Painted Warforged Necromancer (that I sculpted)

So, a loooooooong time ago, I sculpted this Warforged Necromancer to use in our Winter Gaming sessions. He's based off of some commissioned artwork that I hired DMAC for. Here's the artwork (he did a fantastic job): http://www.darrencalvert.com/wfnecro.html And so, after sculpting the mini...

    Horse Miniatures

Several ofthe characters in the Nefsokar and Crusader factions are mounted (both factions are for their Warlord minis game). You could buy those and just use the horses, or buy the horses as bits. I got two exellent 28mm scale horses when I bought a "Zoo Tube" full of farm animals at a local...

HELP: looking for a neogi mini

WHat about the Acklay? http://www.popularcollections.com/swuniverse13.html You could use it as-is, or convert it. With your screen name, I'm surprised this didn't occur to you. ;) Good luck and happy gaming. -Tom

    Custom Minis?

A finished green, where everything is completely new and original, can run as high as $300. A lesser known sculptor may not charge that much, bringing things down close to $200 or even $150. (this is for a human-sized model) A model that is a conversion would cost less. A conversion is a...

Milford, MA: Looking for amazing gamers in central Mass!

Hey Steve, We met Saturday (I am also bald and awesome...I ran Steampunk). Anyway, I'm wondering if you're also looking to play some 40K or Warmachine (or are open to learning new mini games). To be honest, I'd be worried that our play styles in RPGs are too radically different and that we...

Great! We had a GREAT time! I GMed Steampunk and went perfectly! We had an outstanding group and without giving too much away, the bad guys were trounced, the dire apes returned unharmed and the City saved! I brought a few miniatures for the game, of course and a lot of people looked to be...

I did, sir (and thanks). I also sculpted the head, the hoses and the cape from green stuff. Of, and I sawed him off his old integral metal base and gave him a cool new one. THEN I painted him. ;) Looking forward to the game. You ain't seen nothing yet... -Tom (now where did I put those...
