    Blood spots with ink?

Use Chestnut Brown ink from the warzone range of paints (maybe someone gave you some of those recently?). ;) Dip an old toothbrush in it and wipe most of it off. Now "flick" the tothbrush bristles with the brush facing the paper. This simulates a blood spray while the dark brown color...

Frankthedm's miniature thread: 2014/04/17 Formless Spawn of Tsathoggua

That is the Reaper Pit Fiend mini, sans head and wings (and possibly tail). It's an excellent sculpt by Gene Van Horne.

    Warforged Necromancer (Finished!)

Carrion was assigned to a Karnnathi Necromancer during the Last War. This nameless warforged was tasked with carrying in the bodies after a battle. The bodies were of course then turned into skeleton and zombie troops. Warriors and attendants in the field used to call him "Carry In" and over...

The biggest (and coolest) miniature ever!!!

Thanks for getting my back, Frank. In fact, you raise a lot of good points. But it's water under the bridge and we are cool. Eego was good enough to admit that he may have erred and I did the same. We move on. I actually have vaugue plans of trying to re-sculpt the mini, now that I've been...

The biggest (and coolest) miniature ever!!!

Apology accepted. Please know that nothing I've ever said was meant to belittle the work done by the winner. He did a fine job and deserves the win. And in my defense, no I am not just mad I didn't win something. As posted above, I really do spend thousands on mini's each year (just ask my...

The biggest (and coolest) miniature ever!!!

Thanks, Pogre. I am glad that you see where I am coming from. It's not End Of The World or Life Ruining type stuff, but I'm not about to give these guys any of the thousands of dollars I spend on mini's each year. So anyway, thanks for listening. Now, that female torchbearer sculpt, I might...

The biggest (and coolest) miniature ever!!!

My Experience with Ego's Well, to respond to Frank and JVisgaitis, I can only show what happened to me. I think Ego's has some nice sculpts, I just can't hand money over to people who operate like this... http://www.magnificentegos.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=25 (obviously, I am gospog...

The biggest (and coolest) miniature ever!!!

Sandra Garrity does outstanding dragons (she's good at everything else, too). But I've had serious problems with the management at Magnificent Egos and will NEVER buy anything from them, EVER. Nor would I ever reccomend anyone else buy from them, either.

If you feel like it... ...I'd certainly appreciate any artwork of my character, Tharag. Tharag is a large half-orc. Barbarian 1/Druid 9. He is definitely more orc than human and wears purple pants. His only weapon is a giant log banded in iron (a greatclub). Tharag is rarely seen without...

For her Scarred Lands game, my wife scratch-built this brute: I'm impressed. I should be scared (I play in that game!) but mostly I'm impressed. -Tom

OGL Steampunk - Come play in my game!

If you are in the US and anywhere near Connecticut, I will be running Steampunk at Anonycon on December 3rd (a Saturday). I don't stick exactly to the OGL Steampunk book, but I use most of it, the main difference being in how I treat psychic powers. Here's the blurb for the game: D20...
