    RPG via Skype?

SKYPE has gotten much more reliable in the last couple of years, but when my SKYPE/Maptools game started up nearly 4 years ago it was pretty unreliable at times. In the last year or so problems were due to providers or 8+ year old computers, not SKYPE. So yes, give SKYPE a try.

Which editions of D&D do you own the core books for?

All of them. All the way up through and including Essentials. Played each of them for at least 3 levels too. Except for 4E Essentials. Still 4E, so didn't see a need to give it another try.

    Dragon Age 2

I don't know how you can enjoy this game. I found the "story" far less coherent. I can't even applaud them for the background Codex info since so much of it is a repeat from Origins. The character interaction between the group was childish and reactions felt far more contrary, especially without...

    Dragon Age 2

Bought this a few days ago and I have been forcing, yes FORCING, myself to play this until I couldn't take it anymore at 17th level. Only real positive thing I can say about this is the new graphics related to terrain is pretty good. Other than that, I have had a lot, and I mean a LOT of...

(WHUMP!) My Tome of Horrors just arrived

Mine is here! You guys weren't kidding about how light weight this is! I expected it to be 2, maybe 3 times, heavier than it feels.

(WHUMP!) My Tome of Horrors just arrived

Its the lack of all that color ink. Probably a difference in the type of paper used as well.

[Frog God Games] Tome of Adventure Design

So that difference in when and how the tables are to be used is one of what makes this significantly different from AEG's Toolbox and Ultimate Toolbox, 2 other books I own and love.

[Frog God Games] Tome of Adventure Design

"The Tome of Adventure Design is organized as a series of “books,” each one providing resources at every step of the way. The vast majority of the content of each book is made up of random generation tables that we created over a quarter of a century (sigh) for our own use. It shoud be said up...

    Adventure design...

I don't remember if I have the Campaign or Catacombs books. If I do, I have them boxed up out in the garage. What, in particular, makes them favorites to you, Jester?

    Adventure design...

This product: The Tome of Adventure Design Got me to thinking about "adventure design" as well as "world design" and all the books I have bought to help me with various issues. So to be sure I have gotten all the good ones, I thought I would ask you ENWorld DM's what resources you have come...

    Favorite gods from...

For gaming purposes I like a lot of Gods. One of the reasons I like the Wilderlands setting is because it boasts of having "thousands of gods", so I get to use every god I have ever taken a liking to, or ever do take a liking to. My favorite Pantheons are Celtic, Babylonian and Norse. Followed...

Missed the old D&D computer games?

GOG has games like Master of Magic, so it is possible they may eventually get them. If not DOS box still works.
