Shackled City: What's a good Class for it?

I'd dump the rogue for a druid.

Help I need an undead army!

You need some spice, such as undead bulette tanks, hollowed beholder sphere fighters, some undead rocs for troop transports, an skeletal dragon with wizards in it's ribcage dumping spells, oh and a coupla undead whales for your navy. Skeletons with ribcages full of alchemist fire to break troop...

    Why is there no dwarf-hate?

They are just waiting for you to buy a round on the house. Sigh.

Shackled City: What's a good Class for it?

Absolutely. And remember you are polytheists, not monotheists.

Shackled City: What's a good Class for it?

And if the evil cleric wants a share as well, kill him and take his stuff. It's only fair.

No Love for the Dragon Turtle?

I like to have the option to use the DT when I'm in that "owl bear-dragon turtle-flumph-lurker above+trapper" mood.

Shackled City: What's a good Class for it?

    1) Call dibs quick. 2) You can never have enough healing. We had two clerics once. One for healing the other for offensive spellcasting. 3) Sorc with the feat Arcane Thesis: Scorching ray and later the feat Arcane Thesis: Chain lightning, and energy admixture or the like.

    Elements of a realistic campaign

Learn to ask how they are going to pay you and in what form first. A simple business rule all adventurer's must learn or you get burned. And always read the fine print. Especially the terms and services clause.

    Yet another vote for cleric.

E6? Is it your cup of tea?

Yeah, but you as a DM never get to use the cool spells, like timestop and a whole lot of hurting. Stat something out only to never use it? Not for me. Maybe for you.

Don't you just love it when Adventure hooks fall from the sky?

    Elements of a realistic campaign

It could be buying power. Humans who sold their soul to the various evil outsiders, and those who worship the god of slaughter or the hand and eye or that necromancer guy would deal with monsters, hell, some even rule them.

E6? Is it your cup of tea?

A lich, that's not a lich, but is actually a bone creature that casts... fireballs? Fake liches pretending to be real lichs? Nope. Not for me. I like the real liches casting real spells, like time stop. I like leaking the lich's tactic and force the PC's to think. And you can't use about a...

    Dragon fight

Very cool. Hmm.... A green dragon breathes out chlorine gas. It's flesh should not be edible, but might be leached for the chlorine to bleach clothing. You might want to consult with your local alchemist. Or the flesh might be buried in the ground for awhile until the chlorine leaches out...

    capping D&D at 5th level?

Pretty good. Where was this originally posted? I'd add since the average medieval life expectancy historically was between 20-35, I'd say it was oh, averaging about 30-35 in DnD, so I'm thinking of each month a different save, say fort, followed by reflex, followed by will, and repeat at DC...

Go for it. Eh, Roy's not a paladin so it's not a problem.
