Yeah, my flights have been two-stop - e.g. Newcastle to Schipol, Schipol to Chicago, CHicago to Indianapolis. Worked out about 18 hours door-to-door, IIRC.

Plus it avoids an extra couple of hours (at least) on an extra stopover on what is already a fairly long flight. £625 seems to be a decent price.
