Actually, I think you're right. I'll probably stick with my original instinct.

I'm almost tempted to back it because it looks like a win-win: a) if it doesn't reach its goal, I get my money back; b) in order to reach their goal, they will have to demonstrate that this is the best thing for gaming since sliced bread - and I'd like some of that!

Sounds interesting. I replaced my physical binder with Microsoft OneNote, meaning I can do prep on my desktop, and access it in-game on my tablet, or my phone at a pinch. I'd be curious to hear from anyone who has experience of both OneNote and Realm Works.

Yeah, there have only been 7 Star Wars threads (including this one) in the last year - I doubt if there'd be the traffic to justify a separate forum.

My FLGS didn't have any on display, so I asked when they would get them in. The assistant said that they had them, but the release date was tomorrow - he then said that he would double check, realised his mistake, and opened up a box for me. I took three for my group :)

Yeah, that would be a nice twist, too. The assumed bad-guy robots are actually performing pest-control on cybermen that would otherwise take over earth.

It was so obvious that I wonder if it was originally in the script as a red herring, to make the audience think: "robots and gold - must be a cyberman story". My partner, who is more of a casual watcher and didn't really enjoy the first two episodes, enjoyed this week's episode.

I was disappointed with this episode, for the same reasons already given. When I saw the gold arrow, I actually hoped that the robots were being hunted down by cybermen. Cool Troughton spot!

Coincidentally, I've just been looking at converting a 3e character who threw daggers (as well as firing a longbow). He was a 3e-ish (Thieves' World) non-magical Ranger, but I converted him to be a Dex-based fighter with the Archery ability and Sharpshooter feat. I haven't had a chance to play...

No. The two nearest were AD&D where we reached about 16th level, and 3e where we got to around 14th level. We just found that we preferred playing around 4-8th level.
