    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

As the creature yanks his foot out from under him, the monk kicks off with his other foot, trying to twist out of the grip. Unfortunately, he misjudges his angle and instead slips out of view. There is no sound of screaming, no sickening crunch. A moment later Ukee flits up, harrasing the...

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

Acrobatics: 1d20+6 9 Should've passed that... Still, 'Slow Fall' reduces falling damage by 5xmonk level or 25. He's not strength based so I'm not going to waste a roll on hanging onto the ledge.

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Not wanting to give up what little wow factor he might have, dandinstays under cover with the bear, doing his best to keep it quiet even as the wolves come into the fray. "It's okay, we're going to give them quite a feight here in a few moments." He whispers calmingly.
  4. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

It's true, sometimes you've gotta let the rogues rogue.
  5. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Dandin urged the bear to follow him into the cover under a nearby tree, using the shadows underneath to cover the both of them from, hopefully for long enough to prove a neat little surprise for any orc dumb enough to come up and investigate.
  6. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

So call it a R0 move. Call it a free move. Not terribly important atm. Move 15' then take a turn.
  7. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

You have 15 ft and then may act as normal.
  8. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

Religion: 1d20+2 14 I'm guessing he's a 'priest' of ol' one-eye? Also, any indication that these orcs would be 'impressed' by our having ursurped their allies bear?
  9. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Harb missed his shots, but he watched where Miss Imogen's shot struck and followed that creature's path until it disappeared over the ledge of the walkway. Seeing an opportunity, Harb moved to the ledge and fired another two arrows directly down upon the creature.

    D&D 5E (2014) Hydellor OOC

Noth sure if Theramin is named for the instrument or just a random accident. But I just watched this video and had my mind fairly blown.
  11. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Harb pointed out the gargoyles and drew his bow as he did. "It looks like they mean to spirit some of us away. Stay together." The range was long, but he had no intention of breaking his own suggestion. Taking aim he fired off a couple of arrows at the nearest of the creatures.
  12. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) Heroes of Hydellor

Not sure what these creatures were, Owyn went for his go-to strategy. Get in the way and attack. Drawing a javelin as he stood, the warrior moved to intepose himself before the nearest one or two of them and hurled his weapon.
  13. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

"Agreed" feeling that they'd reached a concensus, Harb climbed up to the road and proceeded to scout the way, a short distance ahead of the others, relying on his keen senses and reflexes to stay one step ahead of any ambush.

The Fall of Plaguestone OOC [CLOSED]

Yep... Shouldn't have split the party...
  15. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) Heroes of Hydellor

Owyn suggests working out a few simple hand signs with the others to aid in the handling of the boat and then sits towards the bow with a pair of oars to help speed the journey along, making sure to take his cues from Mindra or whoever else seems to be in charge. Str(Athletics): 1d20+6 14
  16. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Dandin was getting more and more at home in the wilderness. While he was at least partially focussed on managing his new bear friend, he was still quite a scout in and of himself. And slipped off a number of times to scout the path ahead for the party.
  17. gargoyleking

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Dex(Acrobatics): 1d20+6 25 Harb had been feeling a bit closed in in the ruins of the city and this area gave him a bit of a chance to spread his wings so to speak. He took the opportunity to practice a kata, maneuvering easily across the trunk while executing a series of strikes and kicks.
  18. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

    Seems legit.
  19. gargoyleking

CG's Dragon of Icespire Peak [IC]

The game didn't make any sense to Serpa, he understood what mating was, but it was purely an instinctual urge for him and the concept of marriage was a foreign concept to kobolds who placed all of their emotional eggs into a community pot, of sorts. Not that he'd had much of a chance to get used...
  20. gargoyleking

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

Oddly enough I think Dandin's the only character that had anything relevant to vehicle travel. His background gives proficiency in navigator's tools (which I never bought for some reason and has fallen off of his sheet. And a cart+mule. I could've sworn it gave him vehicle prof. Maybe that was...
