My group usually rolls 4d6, but players are allowed to reroll 1's constantly and 2's once. This method typically creates better than average characters, but, then again, heroes are supposed to be better than average, right? ;) Never was much of a fan of Point Buy. Always felt too....static...

It seems fine to me. It's not perfect, but few features ever are, simply because creative players will almost ALWAYS find a way to bend the rules to their advantage. Sometimes this is a bad thing, sometimes it's not. But it does happen, and it makes any "Feature" and it's potential "Fixes"...

My group (if we play) will probably try using the plastic chips from Axis & Allies(2004). Only problem is that they only come in two colors: Grey and Red. *Shrugs* I guess everyone will just have to keep up with what chips are their's. :)

I'll more than likely wait until the Core books come out, though I fear a combination of WoW and pure laziness has nearly consumed my gaming group. :( I wish I could find a really good gaming group...sniff...sniff.

Umm...I don't think Fighters receive spells. Unless, of course, they multiclass into a caster class (Wizard, Warlock, Cleric, Paladin). If you're talking about "Exploits" then, yeah, they get those, but those are not magical in nature and certainly not spells.

Nah, my players aren't against 4E in any visible/audible way. It's just new, and I was just trying to find ways to make the experience more enjoyable in general. Since its going to be a 4E adventure, I was just wonder what everyone elso who played a 4E adventure thought made the game better...
