He gave a simple and very clear example of why you would, at the very least, want flight or other movement modes (get out of the way before the dragon zooms in to stomp at you). Insulting people who point out clear gaps in a 20th-level character's array of abilities isn't going to encourage...

As with the others, the AC is a bit low, and the lack of flight or other movement modes is a very bad thing in the territory of level 20.

A basic goal seems to be to make it faster, not simpler. Look at the character sheets released so far, where even a first-level fighter will have three or four distinct combat options most of the time... it's just that they can be prestatted instead of requiring math on the fly.

Maybe warlock gives +1 to Will Defense, and it's based on Cha (+4) instead of Wis.

I find it interesting that the warlock gets a "Wizard Attack 1" power. Built-in cross training? Maybe all classes get something like the Expanded Knowledge class feature some spellcasters do now, letting them every so often pluck a power (of the same type and level) from a different classes' list.

I'd say that bugbear was (appropriately, given the roll) just really lucky, and landed between two of the spikes. (This is why you fill the bottom of spiked pit traps with acid, just in case!)
