Pathfinder 1E Bestiary 4 or do we really need another monster book?

If you don't want to buy it, you don't have to buy it. :) Paizo aren't holding a gun to your head or anything. If they hold to pattern, the monsters will be available in the PRD soon enough, anyway (and at d20pfsrd as well). Those of us who play high-level games and like the idea of Mythic can...

Pathfinder 1E Throwing a tiny ally... how could this work?

Clearly this poster has never played Exalted! As for the notion of throwing an ally in PF, given that it's partly (and in many places mostly) compatible with 3.5, you could try just importing the Fling Ally feat- or even just its mechanics. But to answer your actual questions from the first...

    Pathfinder 1E Mythic Adventures. Huh?

It's similar to the Stunting mechanic from Exalted, in fact. Take the time to compare the two, and the sorts of actions which trigger Boons look remarkably like the actions one can take to get extra dice in Exalted. That's not remotely coincidental, I'm sure.

Pathfinder 1E What skill for drawing?

An excellent point here. The fact that Craft is modified by INT and Perform by CHA suggests that the line to be drawn is that creative effort is linked to intelligence, whereas getting an audience on your side is a charismatic endeavor, but when you have a situation where both are happening...

    Pathfinder 1E Wreckta Lich

    Thank you. Accepted.

    Pathfinder 1E Wreckta Lich

No, it really isn't settled, since Google leads you to wikipedia which lists both pronunciations of "Drow" on that page. :p Chuckle all you like and be as petty as you wish- the issue is not settled and likely will not be for the foreseeable future. I don't care what your little pronunciation...

    Pathfinder 1E Wreckta Lich

    It's like "drow," yes.

    Pathfinder 1E Wreckta Lich

Amusing though this pun is, it's worth pointing out that it only works when people mispronounce the word Lich- it's actually supposed to be pronounced "leek" (more or less). Of course, a "wreckta leek" could be a fart I suppose, so maybe it works either way!

Pathfinder 1E What books/devices do you take to GM your Pathfinder sessions?

Your poll seems to assume we run sessions away from home. Is that intentional? My games for the past 10 years have been almost all online, in chat rooms and such. So I'm always home and have access to my full collection.

Pathfinder 1E Alchemical Allocation= What exactly can I do with this?

Some people consider it a cheese move, but I've never really seen why, since it requires an extra feat to get access to two feats (not all Item Creation feats, just the two) that actual spellcasters can get for free. I had an Alchemist in a friend's game that was his party's item crafter, and it...

Pathfinder 1E Skill ranks after raising Intelligence?

This is actually a rather odd change, in that they didn't add a rule but rather removed one. On page 10 of the 3.5 PHB, you'll find text stating that raising Mialee's INT from 15 to 16 allows her to start gaining 5 skill points per level instead of 4, but does not retroactively give her skill...

Pathfinder 1E Alchemical Allocation= What exactly can I do with this?

While it is true that Alchemists are not casters and thus can't qualify for Item Creation feats on their own (aside from Brew Potion, of course, which they get automatically as a class feature), there is a feat your analysis overlooked: Master Craftsman. Any character with the 5 ranks in one...

    Here's to the Immortal's Handbook!

As some here know, I already made a thread for this a few years ago. But some newer readers might not have gone back far enough to see it, and it's fair to post the link here. Especially since I hate repeating myself, particularly on the Internet where it's unnecessary. ;)

    Help making a lightning mage!

That's not remotely what most people who make the comment about direct-damage not being a good option mean. What it means is, magic isn't only about destroying enemies- and the spells that are designed solely to destroy enemies are usually bad options compared to other things. Put it this way...

Pathfinder 1E Far Realms inspired campaign. Thoughts and Suggestions appreciated!

Witch-House is another good one, agreed- the description in Gates is more personal to the narrator, so that's probably why I like it better. I was not previously aware of that site! Great to know it exists; thanks for the link. There is exactly one Lovecraft story I've never read, "The...

    Pathfinder 1E Glorian History???

Do you mean Golarion, the default setting for all of Paizo's Pathfinder books? If yes, my understanding is that the Inner Sea World Guide has a lot of history tidbits in it, though probably not an actual timeline or anything. I don't have a copy myself, though, so can't say from personal experience.

Pathfinder 1E Far Realms inspired campaign. Thoughts and Suggestions appreciated!

Dammit, the stupid board somehow changed the link between the time I hit "post" and the time it showed up! I edited it and tested the edited link, and it works for me now. Hopefully it will for you too.

Pathfinder 1E Far Realms inspired campaign. Thoughts and Suggestions appreciated!

If we're getting into literary recommendations, I have one to make. If you'd like to read a literary description of the Far Realm itself, and what it truly means to go or "exist" there (so to speak), I cannot recommend highly enough that you hunt down a copy of a story written by H.P. Lovecraft...

Pathfinder 1E Undetectable Legendary Item Ability - how does it work

Yep. But the unaugmented version of Mythic Invisibility doesn't carry all that- it just says the recipient becomes undetectable to magic. It's basically like Sequester except it doesn't put the recipient in a coma. So, really, the item ability could go either way. Clearly it's supposed to be...

Pathfinder 1E Undetectable Legendary Item Ability - how does it work

Potential problem with Cadence's interpretation is the existence of the Augmented version of Mythic Invisibility. That says: So clearly Paizo intends for such "undetectability" to be involved in Mythic games anyway. It'll be very interesting to see how the designers rule on this, if it becomes...
