    Protecting Troops from Fireball

Isn't that just as bad for your army. The only sure fire way to keep your army together and somewhat organized would be to keep pushing forward, and even then cirtain groups (most notably cavalry) push to far and are cut down. A strike team can operate in the dark. a 10,000+ man army can not...

    Combining Wonderous Items

Can it be done? For example, (and the issue at hand) I would like to know if it's "legal" to combine, let's say, a cloak of arachnida with a cloak of resistance +5, forming a +5 Cloak of Arachnida? I suppose what I'm asking in short is can wonderous items be combined like the different...

    Chaotic Neutral. I guess I just...don't care. ;)

    Protecting Troops from Fireball

The point I'm trying to make is simply that minimal cover can go a long way. In battle, it's intelligent to treat a high-level spellcaster as a unit of it's own, as a fireball spell is much like a powerfull hail of arrows and then some. Simply put, one rank granting full cover can protect a unit...

    Protecting Troops from Fireball

Cheap and practical, except EVERY rank should have plearms. Swiss armies employed similar tactics in the 15th century to eliminate Charles the Bold's Burgundian menage. NEVER FAILED. If a few units of pike arme3d heavily in the front and flanks can crush a professional army, it sholud be able to...

    Hussite War Wagons?

How do you think the stat block should look for hussite war wagons. Remember, they can each hold about 12 comfortably and are about the size of a minivan. While I'm on the subject, what should early gun and canon look like. (I'd figure a 1 make it crit. in your face. That's just how dangerous...

    Excalibur

A gladius is a short sword. If you did that, I think Excalibur would seem rather...powerless and, dare I say, stupid. But that's just me. I hate rome, and, by extension, their military equipment. A short sword excalibur is just REALLY unimpressive.

give her divine rank 0. Seems to work right into the legend.

    Excalibur

Yeah, not to sure about the axiomatic idea either. But I do like the adamantine idea to. When I look at the legends, I do like the holy quality. Juust seem...right, for king aurthur, that is. But Adamantine just doesn't seem right. Looking at the legend, mabye Cold Iron would be an apropriate...

    Excalibur

I guess I you combined all of our ideas it might turn out something like this: +3 Keen Holy Bastard sword Special Qualities: Unbreakable Smite at Will At least, it seems this way to me.

    Excalibur

Ancient texts seem to state that it was a greatword that was as light and easy to use as a long sword. Throw in a +3 magic bonus along with the holy quality, and you've got yourself Excalibur! Or mabye even let it make one smite attack each turn. Now THAT would be a legendary sword for sure!

Epic rogue does sound good. I think that I'll stick with it...until Perfect Wightn is available.

    Mass Battle Recources

Does anyone know of any d20 sources for running major battles? Not all that side-junk like from Heroes of Battle, but how to run a full-fledged massive battles?

    Epic rogue paths

The only thing about epic prestiege classes that seem kind of crummy is that they all just give you abilities that can only use a few times a day. If the perfect wight had an ability like, "turn incorporeal at will" it might be interesting. Also, how's the shadowdancer as a PrC?

    Epic rogue paths

Two part question: 1)What do you mean by the sneak attack meaning less and less? 2)What is sneak attack of opportunity?

    Epic rogue paths

Would a presteige calss be exceptonally beneficial, or is simply continueing on as a rogue an intelligent choice aswell?
