    PHB classes: fact or rumor

It doesn't say there will be summoning or shapechanging effects in the PHB, it simply says that when there's a class that does that, the info will be with the class that makes use of it.

    WotC_Rodney: Trap Fun!

That's a tad judgmental for the actual information we have on hand.

A worry about "special case monster abilities"

I'm actually quite glad that certain monsters will have specific abilities that other monsters of similar type can't do, that way monsters will actually feel different. You'll have a different experience fighting a bugbear than you will fighting a hobgoblin because they can do different things...

Monte's 3.75? (A sequal is on its way)

Actually, being a lemming would be purely following the crowd with no ability to have thoughts/feelings/opinions of my own about the situation. ;) I've thoroughly researched all that is available about the choice I'm making in swapping to 4E, so my decision is actually quite well informed. :)...

Monte's 3.75? (A sequal is on its way)

I love how naysayers like 4th Ed content when it still looks like 3E, people are so afraid of change it's hilarious.

Monte's 3.75? (A sequal is on its way)

Normally I really like and respect Monte Cook's work, but this honestly just sounds like "Oh, I'll rip off everything I like about 4th Edition and sell it a couple months before 4th Ed comes out!"

Memo to all 4th Edition Designers and Developers

It's personal opinion, to me they're quite "cool." I'm sorry you see things differently.

Death and Dying: Annoying new subsystem reduces fun.

Pretty sure in this instance by "monsters" they mean any NPCs controlled by the DM. This new system sounds great to me, death and dying scales for high level play and with the new rolls it'll be much less predictable. I'm all for it. :)

Memo to all 4th Edition Designers and Developers

People on the internet will complain about ANYTHING. They can and will find that they have a problem with a part of everything that exists, and for some reason must share it openly with the rest of us. It's really sad. :( Examples 1A-1C: Rouse's shirt, people over the age of 25 using the word...

So Wish wasn't abolished, after all...

Uhm, except that it didn't tell us ANY of the mechanics of wish or if it actually impacts gameplay. Way to make assumptions. It could be something entirely different mechanically and may not even be given to players. For all we know a spell called "wish" could grant party hats to all characters...

POL Setting: Literacy automatic or no?

I think literacy is fine. I don't think the default campaign setting should worry about trying to complicate that, and besides it's something that can be easily house-ruled for any who feels the need to add that extra layer of complexity.

    D&D 4E 4E PHP cover art changed

I believe GamerZero shot a bunch of interview pieces on the same day and they're being given out piece by piece.

    Mongoose reaction to OGL/SRD

Did he come off as sounding really really pretentious to anyone else? Edit for clarification: I was not refering to the business decision, more of how the post read to me. It's entirely possible that I interpreted the feeling of the post incorrectly, which is why I asked my original question...
