Bestow Greater Curse - How does someone with 1 Int/Wis/ or Cha act?

A cleric with Int of 1 would still be able to cast any spells without a verbal component (Having a subhumanoid Int score means he no longer has a language). One with a Wis of 1 would be incredibly impulsive, devoid of the normal mental limiters we have he'd have something akin to ADHD on 'roid...

    Blindsight vs. Mirror Image (figment)

But Echolocation is not the same as Keen Hearing. Not only is it a difference sense (as listed in the SRD), but Echolocation does not *have* to rely on hearing. For all we know there's a special echolocation chip (Nacho Cheese no less) in some monsters (remember, physics is a house rule).

    Complex Concentration Question

As an item familiar I can only guess it's a type of Construct. As such should it not be immune to being dazed?

Catfolk or Goatfolk - which would make a better "charger"

Been awhile since I did this trick, but aren't people flatfooted against you when you're invisible? That's pretty easy with a wizzie friend, or a scroll and decent UMD.

    What's the color of Sonic?

But sound can travel through much more than air, which is why Sonic works as a damage type. Sonic can travel through anything except void. And just as a side note most of my dice (well D6s, which is what all my extra damage dice are) are black, so I'm hesitant to use that.

Of shoes, and ships, and sealing-wax. Of cabbages, and kings...

Hmm... I'm just not kosher with a mindless creature A) having a personality, B) having a mind effecting effect in place while C) being mindless and immune to mind effecting effects. In addition I have concerns that it D) always detects as a certain specific alignment, E) has Glibness which...

Open door as part of a move

For most doors I simply tell them it costs 10' movement, and for swing doors (doors that open either way without any latch or knob) they may walk or run through at no penalty, but if you run into something you're flat footed against those foes. Anything more complex is at least a move action...

    What's the color of Sonic?

And no I don't mean the hedgehog. I've recently come across a Sonic addition to my weapon (oil of sonic weapon or some such) and thus need a corresponding die. At first I tried simply ruling out what wasn't already taken... Blue for Ice, Red for Fire, Green for Acid, Yellow for Electricity...

    How to raise armor class...

Minions. Aid Another gives a +2 to AC, and they also act as ablative armor by being around to take hits for their master. Dedicated Defenders are particularly good at this as they retain their dodge bonuses to AC while 'taking' hits for your important person allowing them to 'matrix' incoming...

    Baleful Utterance & Readied Actions

Given that the attack was interrupted I'd state the action was made, even if ineffectual. If a move action was already used then that would be the target's end of turn unless they had a free, or swift action they wished to take. Of course this does nothing to stop a character from continuing...

House rule #1: "You can attempt to go anywhere."

Actually the RPGA doesn't work like that for the majority of their events. I've heard that certain specific events (competitive dungeons that everyone has a chance to play for example) work that way, but by in large most do not. For most Living Greyhawk RPGA events, the ones I'm most familiar...

Tattooed Monk as a 5-level PrClass... How's this?

That first one makes it even less desireable than the 10 level version.

Seeking a Group In Scottsdale, Phoenix and/or Glendale Area

Gamer's Inn at stapley and southern has several games going on, including RPGA events every other saturday. A bit of a ride, but it's become an even larger gamer magnet. You'll be sure to find posters for games there, and of course could post your own.

    Errors in SRD?

Racial Bonus is key to many of the high skill modifiers. The most common Racial bonuses I've seen are 4 or 8 and to skills like climb, listen, spot, and swim.

    Proficiency with unarmed strike

Good catch, they're not simple, they are light. But I get that idea from the exact same place I get the idea that you need to ready any of your weapons, by unsheathing it, drawing it from a storage compartment, etc... If I ever hear a monk's player state 'I draw my fists' again I'll bust up...

    Proficiency with unarmed strike

If we continue with this idea that unarmed strikes are simple weapons not only do you need to be proficient with them, but must ready them before you may attack. While the idea of a monk 'cocking' his fists before he decides to unload on some shmuck is amusing I think it's to silly to rule as...

Do familiars advance in skills and feats?

Easy cheesey is to get yourself a Raven Familiar and use it to make 2 knowledge checks every time one comes up. Paired with the naturally high Int score of wizards, and the ability ravens have to speak one language of master's choosing (that master also knows). Combined with natural flight...

What happens to animals when their Int goes up?

Another side effect of the high Int animal is that they no longer have need of 'tricks'. They simply understand you and obey (assuming it wasn't stupidly dangerous).
