    Are RPGs Watchable?

While not videos, I've found the following audio podcasts to be very entertaining and I highly recommend them The Adventure Zone (a laugh out loud funny podcast as 3 brothers and their Dad learn 5e. I lost it multiple times and had trouble breathing by the end of episode 4. ) Gamerstable...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e Artificer?

Has anyone found any good conversions/creations for an Artificer? I've been pushing my group to get on the 5e tip and convert over from 4e. I'm able to create thematic versions of everyone's PC (rogue, swordmage, druid) except for the Artificer and am a bit stumped. Especially since magic item...

    D&D 5E (2014) Vrax the Rock Thrower

Is there a way to use bonus actions or move actions to get further distance maybe? Like using a move action to have a familiar catch the rock and transport it further? I have no idea, no books handy...

    D&D 5E (2014) Rating the 1st level Wizard Spells

Re-read the spell and the monk/barbarian abilities. They stack. Cheers.

    D&D 5E (2014) Rating the 1st level Wizard Spells

Mage Armor is underrated. It seems that everyone that evaluates the spell seems to miss that you can also cast this on others. Our party Monk thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread, and the Barbarian is as pleased as punch too. Long lasting buff? Awesomesauce for the right party.

asking for help/advice on the most popular RPG genre

If you have a hankering for a wild west game, you could try the Savage Worlds Deadlands setting. There is a ton of products available including long campaigns. Plus the Savage Worlds Deluxe rulebook is only 10 bucks. So cheap I bought one for all of my players instead of sharing one rulebook...

Which Game Would YOU Choose for Wil Wheaton's Tabletop RPG Spinoff?

My personal preference would be for Savage Worlds. Its stripped down enough and rules light enough to make it easy on viewers, its open to any genre, and there wouldn't be the licensing concerns other have mentioned. There is plenty of published material available, and lots of different wild...

Looking for Rome vs Barbarians Setting

Wierd Wars Rome I like it and picked it up. It has enough background info to make me feel like I can run a campaign set in Ancient Rome and I liked the plot point campaigns in the back. It is set up so you can run a campaign over generations, and then can even tie it to events in the other...

Looking for Rome vs Barbarians Setting

There is also Weird Wars Rome, for Savage Worlds, that has just been recently released. It would mainly be from the Roman perspective instead of the Germanic tribes side, but it has a full plot point campaign, and supplemental material.

    Tell me about Savage Worlds

Slipstream If your sci-fi storyline is more 'Buck Rogers' retro-pulp style than 'Star Trek' hard science type, then check out the Slipstream setting. I had a blast running it!

A Rift in Our Group - "Quickness" and "Deflection" Spells are Ruining Savage Worlds' Combat

I'd say that before you want to make any changes to his character, make sure you're running the rules correctly. Perhaps an audit of the character sheet is in order as well. As ameigoV mentioned, in order to be doing this he is likely sacrificing something else. Monitor the power point usage...

Looking for RPG system for campaign.

Check out Savage worlds. The rulebook is so cheap ($10) that you'll be willing to buy a couple extra copies for your players to use, which will help get over their fear of trying a new system. Progression is as slow or as fast as you want, and it scales fairly flat, so even low level...

    Did you change potions?

Need more variety My real issue with potions isn't whether or not healing potions are ok, its that there isn't enough variety of potions in general. They should be more then cleric in a bottle.

    Podcasts that mention RPGs

I just stumbled upon: Gamer! the podcasting (www.gamerthepodcasting.com) and Gaming Steve (www.gamingsteve.com) I was wondering if anyone has found any that are really good that they like? (I haven't sampled either of the two above yet...)
