    I think if the result of the spell is a hit, the DC for the Save will be the total of the roll. I don't think it will require an additional roll. Or if the spell Auto Hits, you'll roll to generate the DC.

    I would start by adjusting AC/Def away from being equal to 10+Mods and make it be Parry or Evade which are D20+Mods first. Then, I would say that Parry uses your BAB+Str+D20. Evade uses your Def/Ref Def Bonus/BAB+Dex+D20. I'd look at limiting Counter & Riposte to 1/Encounter and/or make both...

    I have to say that PF Beta's handling of skills & skill points is probably my favorite. All skills cost 1 point per rank, but when you put your 1st point in a Class Skill you get 3 additional bonus ranks. No more multiplying times four at first level. Its probably what I'll use.

    Does anyone like class skills?

    No class/cross-class skills is my preference as well. I like the option presented in the Companion & use it in my Supers20 games. Is there any possibility for a SWSE style Skill system? Or even SWSE/4E style Defenses(as opposed to Saves)?

    Hi Chuck, One more question: I know that Perks can be used at 1/2 Skill Ranks. Can Power Stunts be used at 1/2 effectiveness as well?
