    Gamma World at PAX?

Did anyone get to play Gamma World at PAX? What did you think about the game and the adventure (leaving aside any issues you might have with certain components they'll be selling later)?

Whatcha gonna run? Whatcha wanna play?

Self-indulgent plug here: check out the Critical Hits review of it: Review: “Fiasco” : Critical Hits Sounds like I'll definitely put Fiasco on the schedule. As for what I want to play, I would love to play in any GUMSHOE game (Trail of Cthulhu would be preferred) since I've owned some of the...

Whatcha gonna run? Whatcha wanna play?

I'd like to run (err... facilitate?) a playtest of my custom Fiasco playset, inspired by such things as Miskatonic University and Animal House.

Gamma World Box Set Sneak Peak on I09.com

Besides the fact that you will stop, because it's not collectible? And it's not a "powergaming toy" since it all gets thrown into a random deck? Darn that company selling products for a profit!

Gamma World Box Set Sneak Peak on I09.com

I seem to recall something along the lines that if you roll the same mutant half twice then you instead become an "Enhanced Human" but at some level everybody's a mutant. I kept being told at Gen Con that the big premiere for Gamma World was PAX which is in three-ish weeks, so I'd expect a lot...

Gamma World Box Set Sneak Peak on I09.com

Not that I expect to actually resolve this argument but: * According to the Gamma World seminar, the cards will be collated in such a way that makes them less random- i.e. if you want a full set there's an easy way to get them in each box. * Cards come in the boxed set, and more will come in...

New "Red Box" Starter Set hands-on preview

Actually, the sense I got was that it was wrong only on those character sheets at the show, not necessarily the final printed product. I can check with someone who has a Red Box to be sure.

    No new adventures?

From what I heard after the seminar, I'm pretty confidant they will still be releasing some standalone adventure modules next year, they just didn't want to announce them at the seminar.

[4th ed] Clockwork Horrors now DEMONS? And Neogi...

About a demon of alchemy and artifice- someone has to build the demonic war engines, right? IIRC, in Demonomicon, it's a pretty throw-away line in the book. Not a fully explained demon lord of any kind.

    MM3 Typos

There's another one near that- I think in the Slaad entry on disease. Those bug me in particular- not only do they actively make the book less useful unlike other typos, but they're also the most common error in RPG bookdom. You'd think that error specifically would be handled by now.

    Wrath of Ashardalon board game!

From what I recall of the DDXP seminar, it was originally going to be Dragon Mountain (just like the original boxed set) but they ran into trademark conflict with another company.

    Wrath of Ashardalon board game!

It's the same engine as the Ravenloft board game coming out, with some ability to mix and match between them. "Wrath of Ashardalon" is also the third name I've heard for it :)

    Who's Hype for Dark Sun???

I'm totally hyped. Plans are already under way to make Dark Sun the next campaign I run once my current one is finished (group in late Paragon, and not planning on going all the way through Epic). About 1/3rd of the group played in long DS campaigns in 2e and are really looking forward to it...

    Do You Blog?

RPG Bloggers isn't a host- it's just a way to connect existing bloggers. And they will open up applications again in the near future. Blogger is a very good and easy start (and it's where I got mine), though I'm a huge Wordpress fanboy. I'd definitely recommend WP if you want to get into it...

    Origins: Questions and Who's Going?

What are you running? I'll be there again this year. Evil Hat seems to have most of the stuff I want to play :) Disappointed that it looks like the D&D stuff will just be the usual LFR RPGA modules and no Ultimate Delve, the highlight of last year's con for me.

    Do You Blog?

To answer the original question... yes, I do blog (link in my sig) and created rpgbloggers.com to make it easier to find RPG blogs. As I just discovered when filling out a resume, I've been blogging since 2003 in one fashion or another. Blogging has helped me get my current job, helped me get...

What articles do YOU want written for Dragon and Dungeon?

I think that's good advice regardless and all that is still applicable, but it is worth noting that Chris Youngs is now out from Dragon and Dungeon, and Steve Winter is in as the EIC. It sounds like Mr. Winter is going to be running things a bit differently too.
