What 1st-level spells should any Wizard have?

I chose Burning Hands, Animate Rope, Shield and True Strike. They make for a perfect jack-of-all-trades caster.

    The Dungeon Githyaki/Githzerai Obsession

'twas Dragon #309. As was already stated, I, too, fail to note any "tendencies" here. It's not that there really are Gith in every single issue of D/D, and I like the occasional planar goodness. Incursion was a great idea, and perfectly done.

[Request] Need psi-monsters from The Illithiad!

There is also a Psi-Cranium Rat Swarm, done by Nifft (IIRC), somewhere on these boards.

    Libris Mortis Art Gallery

*shudders* With WotC, you never know. (Please, I've already had my bad pun for today ;).)

    Libris Mortis Art Gallery

I absolutely dig this. Great art. :) What's more: the Book has the Visage in it? THAT Visage? *must get book* *cannot control* ...

[Full] Shackled City Adventure Path 3.5

This seems to be a dead end. Pity, I was looking forward to that character and game :(.

    Are Psionic's now Core Rules?

The Sovelior_Sage SRD has monsters using the new XPH Psi-Like abilities. It's okay, I think, to regard Psionics as "core" as they have even appeared in recent WotC novels.

[Full] Shackled City Adventure Path 3.5

Maybe it's just that someone on Limbo decided to "Summon DM IX" again, and CH has yet to find the portal back ;).

    Best Necromancer/Undead books out there?

Lords of the Night is a great series. Also, WotC's Libris Mortis looks promising.

[Full] Shackled City Adventure Path 3.5

    Current Campaign Settings?

So far, it's Planescape all the way. But I'm currently working on a Homebrew setting, which is sprinkled liberally with Midnight, Grim Tales and my own ideas. Should prove an interesting challenge, as I've never attempted something like that before.

    Shackled City - Life's Bazaar

Thalon will do nothing but stay where he is - he has no reason to enter this scuffle, which seems to have ended before it really began. He will thus delay his action until after Thug #3, only to enter combat if #3 takes a swing at Aleria.

    Shackled City - Life's Bazaar

Thalon's heart skipped a beat. Another elf? Thus far, the only ones that bore resemblance to his kind were half-elves, most of them downbeat and depressed, and none who shared his outlook on the world. He had mentioned it a few times, in passing, but the reactions had ranged from disbelief to...

    Shackled City - Life's Bazaar

Thalon snarled and strained his eyes, his superior vision allowing him to see through the gloom, trying to measure the three attackers and determine if there were any more hidden somewhere along the alley. While the two humans started what appeared to be a contest of witticisms, the elf moved...

    Shackled City - Life's Bazaar

Thalon stepped down the heavy stone steps from the inn, pulling the door closed behind him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Normally, he would have rejoiced as the rain fell, welcoming its pure and clear droplets upon his face, where they would wash off the grime and dirt from a long...
