[Planescape] PS: A New Era NPC's

Hey KM, any chance you will continue to update this thread? Those NPCs were really excellent work.

    D&D 4E Wizards: Handling 4e Errata

Greetings all, having read the recent thread in the "General" forum about how WotC is planning to handle Errata distribution for v3.5 from now on, I've noticed a certain gap in between how (parts of) the ENworld community and WotC perceive errata. While Wizards is focusing more on the "fix...

    Tiefling as a core race?

IIRC, it was Wolfgang Baur who came up with the name. The term "tiefling" is derived from german "tief", which would translate into the english "nether" or something similar. (Wasn't this mentioned in a recent Dragon or Dungeon Magazine?)

Dragon Compendium used outside Dungeon #150?

I think there was an Astral Deva mountebank in Demogorgon's prison.

FR - Returning Order to Scardale

You might want to read "Shadowdale: The Scouring of the Land" if you haven't already, as the (political and military) situation in the surrounding region has undergone certain changes :).

    Maps!

Wow. That Southern Brimdenn map is a thing of beauty. Clear, crisp, detailed ... I am in awe, sir.

I expect these will see much use in my campaign. Thanks a lot for your work!

Is WoTC even relevant to you anymore?

I don't think they'll ever stop being relevant, as long as they put out books with high production values and nice content. There have been disappointments along the way, but hasn't it always been like that? I passed on a lot of their "recent" books (Magic Item Compendium, all Eberron stuff...

Shadowdale: The Scouring of the Land

There are threads on it both on Candlekeep and the Wizards boards, which might help you make up your mind about the book. I would recommend it. If you can ignore the way , the rest of the adventure is easily the best 3.5 adventure WotC has put out so far.

    Need a cool monster name

Basically, it just means "snow flurry". But no one will notice :D.

[Iron Kingdoms] I've got Monsternomicon, Vol.2!

ISBN is 978-978-1-933363. The Lord Toruk isn't part of the book, although several of his "children" are. I haven't had the time to check out the mechanics in detail - and since my law exams are drawing ever nearer, I probably won't have the opportunity to do so anytime soon, sorry :(...

[Iron Kingdoms] I've got Monsternomicon, Vol.2!

I hadn't even noticed "burnination". :D Just read the dragons' entry. That alone is stuff enough for an entire campaign, IMHO.

[Iron Kingdoms] I've got Monsternomicon, Vol.2!

Devyn / GlassJaw: Yes and yes ;). They've kept the MN1-style monster entries, with only minor changes - the most remarkable being the deletion of the "CR" line; it's now incorporated in the monster size/type line. Space saver, nothing more, I'd wager. Anyways, they didn't adopt the new stat...

    Kobold Quarterly: Issue 1

Thus far, I've only browsed the contents, but I like what I've seen :). Especially the continuation of the Ecology articles is a very nice touch. Also, the Erik Mona interview is a gem. My only (minor) gripe so far: I'd very much like to be able to download a high-resolution pdf, in order to...

[Iron Kingdoms] I've got Monsternomicon, Vol.2!

(I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum - putting it here was my best guess.) So, the long-anticipated sequel to (IMHO) the best d20 monster books has finally arrived. If you liked the first volume, I can only recommend the second one - from what I've seen so far, I like this book...

    Expedition to Underwhelm-ountain!

They are in my copy ;). Sorry, I really can't understand all the bashing going on. The encounters may be a bit bland, but that's the extent of my complaints. The book takes a somewhat different approach than the other Expedition ... products, but that's no reason to talk about a lack of...
