Savage Tide AP not intriguing me

I'll have to disagree with you there - different gaming philosophies, I guess. It'd be a good thing to just leave be the core assumption of 13 encounters (iirc) per level, thus forcing you as an adventure designer to "hand out" another level up even when it (perhaps) wouldn't be dramatically...

Savage Tide AP not intriguing me

Chalk up another vote for a low-to-mid-level AP. I've been hoping for something like that ever since reading through the SCAP. Hmm ... just thought of an idea to solve the space problems, should "lots of new monsters" be needed - although I don't know if it would be feasible: You might consider...

Thanks :) that is awesome, both of you. Exactly what I needed.

    Prisoners - your input needed

Hi folks, while designing the current adventure arc for my group, I've come to a point where I just draw blanks ... Maybe you can help me out with your ideas - any input would be most welcome. :) The situation's this: The PCs, posing as inmates, will infiltrate a prison set in the plane of...

    Shemmy's Planescape Storyhour #2 (Updated x3 10-17-07)

Judging from the party's antics, everyone was definitely having fun at this point :). Nice update. I'm really looking forward to the continuation (and hoping for the inevitable clash between the Thayans and the characters. Though Edwin is almost too cool to lose).

    Blood Wars Minis

I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this set :). These miniatures are going to see good use in my campaign [shameless plug](see .sig for details)[/unplug]. The players are currently level 10, but aspiring to reach level 18-20 if they can. We'll see. We'll see. [evil grin at pit fiend]

    'Loths, many and varied

You can find Pants' (I think) excellent conversions here.

Ptolus: The World of Praemal - Who has it?

I've downloaded it, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. More to come later :). However, I'm kind of disappointed with some (by all means, not all) of the art pieces, especially those in the chapter headers.

    The Abyssal Campaign (~260pg).

Bumped this once already, but the server crash ate my post. So, here's to a great campaign again: *BUMP* Keep up the good work! Any chance of an update soon?

    PTOLUS - Who has pre-ordered?

I preordered, and while I can't see a Ptolus game on the horizon (because of time and scheduling issues with my players...) I'm gonna milk it for what it's worth (content-wise), marvel at its beauty and layout, and just enjoy the product as a well-done fantasy world to read through.

    The Cunningly Disguised MMIV Preview

I agree, Gold Roger. The new format - from the statblock doing away with all the superfluous information, to the knowledge sidebars and ecology-style writeups - is great. More space for a single creature is also a good thing - it also saves us the effort of having to read through all the boring...

    Pronouncing Acheron: ASH, or ACK?

ACKeron. "ch" is too soft a sound, I think.

    Shemeska's Planescape Storyhour (Updated 29 Jan 2014)

This. Made. My. Day. (Or rather, morning, but still ...) Great evocative writing, kudos once again :). I know I'd rather not be in the PC's boots as they explore yet more of Siddharta's experimental labs! I'm really looking forward to your Rogues' Gallery updates.

Game of Thrones RPG Deluxe Limited Edition

Got my DLE a few days ago, and ... well, I'm speechless. This is sheer quality; hats off to Guardians of Order for managing to publish a project of this magnitude and executing it brilliantly. Now, if only it weren't so short ;) ... Looking forward to the ACOK Supplement they keep hinting at.

    Help! Looking for Planescape info.

http://www.kriegstanz.com/ One of the most consolidated collections of faction-specific material, IMO. It's 3e, to my knowledge.

    Shemeska's Planescape Storyhour (Updated 29 Jan 2014)

Nice update, once again :). I guess the "high grass" scene was (at least somewhat) inspired by the 'raptors in Jurassic Park (2, I think it was)? Oh, and what did you do to the retriever - did you "template" it somehow, or was it just a fluff change? That was seriously wicked imagery :)...

Are ready made adventures like The Shackled City worth buying?

I purchased Shackled City with the premise that I'd modify it and integrate it into my own campaign. Thus far, it's working like a charm, because the "Cauldron" setting can easily be adapted to other cities, realms, or even planes. You just have to switch around a few details, but it's a lot...
