    Half-Celestial Template Class

That one's different. The purpose of that transitional class is to go from an Aasimar to Half-Celestial. The class I made is based off the standard Half-Celestial template and is applicable for any race. It's very similar to the Half-Fiend template here

    Half-Celestial Template Class

I looked around for quite some time for one of these. I've noticed that several have been made, but couldn't find one that wasn't in a book. So I made my own, based very closely off the Half-Fiend Template Class that Wizards released some time ago. Half-Celestial Template Class...

Getting ready to run World's Largest Dungeon... have questions (SPOILERS)

Well, I wish I could take credit, but I've heard it several places before... though I can't remember any of them ATM. This is the option I think I'll be going with. I am still unsure about how I'll do it, but I think I may have a blend of this with the suggestions above. I'll have an...

Getting ready to run World's Largest Dungeon... have questions (SPOILERS)

Yeah, I've been reading that quite a bit. I am several pages in, but when I noticed that it's 45 pages, and I haven't even made it through more than two sections of the WLD book yet, I thought I might post a separate thread to try and see what answers I could get here. I'm hoping it will turn...

Getting ready to run World's Largest Dungeon... have questions (SPOILERS)

So, I will be starting up the World's Largest Dungeon next week, and I have been reading through it some (just got the book about a week ago). I've made it through section A, and I plan to make it through a good part of B and hopefully E before we start. However, I've come up with a question...

Idea for a dice "bag" - need suggestions

So, I was reading a few of my latest "How-To's" on my Google start page, and one was a how-to going through the basic process of making a book safe. It explained a simple process, and by the end, you have the typical hollow book for your shelf. Well, I was talking with a friend about hollow...

Plane Shaper - Idea for a new epic PrC

So I'm working on my cosmology, and I had the thought of making one of the deities on my campaign a sort of plane creator. In the campaign setting I'm creating, all the deities were once mortals, so a bunch of their power comes from the "normal" sources, and the divine stuff augments it. I was...

Best way to distribute free adventure

I'll take them as well if you're handing them out. Some of my players own more modules and read many of the same online supplements as me, so anything I can do to get content they haven't seen is awesome. My email is my screen name at gmail.

Rangers and spellcasting - somewhat random thought

*bump* Any other opinions? I'd still like to get feedback on this, since my next campaign won't start for about a month.

Rangers and spellcasting - somewhat random thought

I think if the PHB2 has an option like that, it would be fairly balanced to instead swap out the animal companion for the ability to cast spontaneously. I think it's about as balanced as allowing every hit giving his allies a +2 to hit certain enemies (and letting rogues sneak attack). I think...

Rangers and spellcasting - somewhat random thought

I'm not sure it would unbalance all that much. Rangers only get a very small amount of spells per day, and if they really want more spells, they have to spend a lot of effort to get a high Wisdom score. When they already need to focus on Str, Dex, and Con, I think adding the Wis to it gives them...

Rangers and spellcasting - somewhat random thought

I was looking at the ranger class today and reading some vehement forum posts (at a few different places) about the power, or lack thereof, of the ranger. A thought struck me. What if rangers were given spells the same as a warmage? I don't mean picking from the same list, but what I'm thinking...

I don't like the rules for sapping someone

The only downside to doing it this way is that it still nerfs the sap itself. The weapon is never used, and the primary reason is that it's not very useful. I'm not sure I want to require two feats for someone to be able to whap a person in the back of the head. As for the 3 rounds of study...

    INT mod to AC twice?

The player is working on a character build for the World's Largest Dungeon campaign that I'm getting ready to start (my book shipped today... so excited!!!). He's been working on it for quite some time, and I'm finally getting to the point where I can look over some of the character concepts...

    INT mod to AC twice?

Well, the reason I look at postcount is that it shows the amount of time spent on the boards. I've only been here a couple weeks, and I've already seen the amount of information and knowledge shared here. Definitely amazing.

    INT mod to AC twice?

I'd have to agree. And considering the two who posted opinions had over 40k posts between the two of them, I'd say that's enough to get my vote!

    INT mod to AC twice?

Well, the primary concern is that I believe he will be taking enough levels of each class to get his full INT bonus to AC. But it sounds like the concensus is that it's allowed, as they are different types of bonuses. Thanks a bunch!

    INT mod to AC twice?

I've got a player who is thinking about making an AC monkey character, and he's looking at a couple levels in Duelist and Invisible Blade. I've looked at the wording of their AC bonuses, and it looks like it stacks, but I thought I'd ask here and see what everyone thought.

I don't like the rules for sapping someone

Here's another version. This one is completely reworked and taken as a straight rework of the Assassin's Death Attack. It still goes for the flavor I was looking for (namely, the target must still be unaware or not know the rogue is an enemy), and it could turn out to be more balanced than my...

I don't like the rules for sapping someone

I like the idea of using a massive damage variant or rewording the Assassin's death attack. I'll do some more work on this and repost it.
