I don't miss anything from the good ol' days cause we play the same game we played back then. Correction, I do miss the huge amount of free time I used to have as a young man. D20 Fantasy Edition is not D&D to me.

I like what you've come up with. On the surface I like what you've done to balance the powers. I don't think there will be any problems with player's taking these options. Without knowing what kind of a DM you are I can guess that with the thought you've put into this that things will work out...
