I never really understood the edition wars, either. If the current edition is not your thing, can't you just continue playing the earlier edition? Or a different game? I don't really care for Superman comics. So I buy Batman instead. I don't spend a lot of time griping about Superman.

I am happy to run at least one game. Rather than sign up for something specific, I would be happy to take requests on game systems (Call of Cthulhu, Mutants & Masterminds, 3.x, d20 Modern, etc. Whatever someone wants to suggest (within reason) I would be happy to do.

They have human names but I would probably avoid giving them something as mundane as 'Bob.' Also, it would be kind of uncool to give them a name like 'Gandolf.' Oh, and 'Luke Skywalker' would be right out.

I am fairly certain I saw something where GR said M&M would not be updating in the near future.
