In the 20 or so years I have been playing D&D the highest level I have ever gotten a character was 12th. When running D&D it was about the same.
Now, I hear that there is this other poster, Edena, with a very different story to tell.
It would be really interesting to see a bunch of people revert back to older editions - 1E, for instance. I mean, I don't see it happening but it would be kind neat to see an influx of older games being run at cons. I think it would be a real blast.
Further, imagine the fun people could have...

I read a little of it last night and it was pretty nice. I got through the first major encounter and some of the minor encounters. I would love to play in this, actually. But I might settle with just running it.
Ah, but some gnomes can book you excellent deals on your travel plans, making sure you get the best possible rates for for your dollar. That is an extremely helpful feature of the gnome.
I can bust another one out if you like - no matter what we're playing. Something in space, something in Paranoia or something in a setting where all Scottish people are extinct. Anything you like, man, my Socttish accent can show up again just for you. :)

In all the years of playing D%D I do not think I have ever played a gnome and come to think of it I cannot recall any player playing a gnome.
The need for civility has always been a mainstay at ENWorld. That's just the way it is. That's just the way it always has been.
There is a difference between disagreeing with someone respectfully and just being rude (or lazy as the case may be). It is expected that people act in a civil...
I've also found that most of the guilty threads often involve the same parties. I have no doubt that threads unflattering to 4e are acceptable and even encouraged by the mods but at the same time I think that things are supposed to be respectful and civil - something that is a rarity with 4e...
