    Epic Level Adventuring?

I thought I would hate Epic levels but after seeing the playtest document i'm pretty psyched. I suspect it will be a few years before we get to that level tho. I still think there are plenty of challenges.

    Goblin Cavalry on Worgs

You could make them Paladins so their worgs get bonus hit die and abilities. You could also advance the worgs, up to 6 HD before they become Large. If the goblins are elite their mounts should be too.

    Please rate Eagle Claw Attack

Breaking Blow does not require Eagle Claw Attack and still does not change the fact that Eagle Claw Attack is a feat that does nothing. You might as well take a feat that says "You Can Make Saving Throws." Whoop-de-do.

Am I a powergamer? (or, a fine line between powergamer and being useful to the party)

I'd stay with the Bard. At low levels Bards tend to suck, individually anyway. The best they can do is Spell Focus: Enchantment and max Diplomacy to wheedle a few bodyguards from the local noble. At higher levels they get pretty awesome, with decent spells, good skills, and Bardic...

Chicago Gameday June 22nd - Aftermath Thread!

I played Wheel of Time there last time. It was pretty big, like a large business meeting table. 7 players would stretch it, but is doable. Especially if you intend to kill the players off pretty quick.

RttToEE: Buying Loot in Verbobonc ***Spoilers***

A cleric with Craft Wonderous Items can get an arcane magic user to cast the arcane spell portion of the item's creation. I don't see why it would be hard to hire a wizard to cast a spell in such a large town.

What Tumble variant do you use?

I think the primary misunderstanding here comes from the fact that this board did not translate my 'smiley-with-tounge-out' (:p), which was meant to indicate some levity in the previous post. Munchkins are welcome.

Anyone want to start a basic DnD game somewhere?

I kinda want to start a game under the pacific ocean. I think playing under millions of tons of water in pressure suits with no light would really add atmosphere. Hey, you asked.

What Tumble variant do you use?

Actually, according to the POLL the vast majority uses Tumble unmodified, and has had no problem with it. These are just the misfits (munchkins?) unable to live with those rules :P Thanks for all the ideas everyone.

    Hide in plain sight

In the Epic Level playtest document epic characters can Hide in Plain Sight just like hiding, but at a -20 to the check. Thats probably what he was reffering to.

    Please rate Eagle Claw Attack

I never knew a monk COULDN"T use his unarmed strike to sunder. Seeing this feat in S&F was quite a surprise. I decided play it as i though, monks can sunder just as well as any other weapon, and changed Eagle Claw Attack to let monks use unarmed strikes as either piercing or slashing weapons.

What Do You Appreciate From your Player (s)??

Sorry. I am American, i'm only fooling with Limper. I live with a teacher so I hear about this crap all the time :( But she cooks good. I appreciate players with a sense of humor for when we pull the, and you know you have, "It was all a dream!" game.

What Do You Appreciate From your Player (s)??

Ironically enough, Americans also do very badly in spelling. I'm hardly 'jealos' :D

What Do You Appreciate From your Player (s)??

Considering that the 'average' game is supposed to have 4 players, and prolly more with a good DM, i think your observation merely proves that DM's appreciate players MORE than vice versa. Otherwise there should be 4+ DM appreciation posts to every player appreciation post Don't feel too...

To multiclass or not to multiclass? That is the question.

IMO........It's hard for ANY class to not take a level of Barbarian and the Extra Rage feat. 'Nuf said.

What Tumble variant do you use?

My players have been complaining about the Tumble rules lately, so i looked at other variants. The Sword and Fist option, opposed Tumble checks didn't seem all that great. The Song and Silence option, opponent makes a reflex save vs Tumble check with a +10 if moving through, seemed better...

What Do You Appreciate From Your DM(s)

I appreciate when players don't act like total tools so there isn't a TPK.
