    I was pondering allowing Paragon Multi classing to let you pick up a couple of your base classes class features. Feat based does seem best as it allows you most of the benefits for nearly all the paragon paths, of both of your classes. (except for an odd one like the fey lock's)

    Here's my take. Treat it as you would a Mount. Deduct the Dragons xp value from the encounter as you would if he were a mount. That's probably the best way to do it (obviously the encounters are more difficult as well and worth abit more xp)
