Who’s your vote for the next James Bond?

I don't think that is what anyone is doing.

Who’s your vote for the next James Bond?

I see that you're not interested in dissenting views, but while I think that more new spy stuff with non-white-male leads would be absolutely great, I think that they would only be made weaker to be forced to conform to any Bond-isms. Would "Killing Eve" or "Atomic Blonde" have been better if...

AtG Howling Crag (5e PBP) OOC

So... I am happy to give more information before you arrive at the Crag, based on your scouting. I've got a pretty good picture in my head of what Kahru's attempting, though @Tonguez can feel free to ask for more as well. But I haven't got a great picture as to exactly how Gimlak has helped...

Who’s your vote for the next James Bond?

Will Poulter, Nicolas Hoult, and Aaron Taylor Johnson would be my top three. Though Nicolas Hoult really has too kind a face, but he's a great actor (the best of the three, IMO) so... he could probably pull it off in spite of that.

This is getting as silly as Bond raking on the moon!

Against the Giants 5e PBP (Full)

I finally forced myself to roll the round! And instead of whatever worries I had, I found it quite fun, like it should be. I'd been having some kind of dread about it, like I wasn't going to be able to figure out where we were at (it's harder the longer I leave it) but it went well, I think...

(IC) Against the Giants PBP Group 1

With the Chief's call of "Kill the Spell-thrower", it seemed as if nearly every giant in the room hurled a rock at Quinn. In a quick flash of precognition, Quinn saw his only hope. A single space that he could step to in time that would save his life. He stepped forward, but the mass of rocks...

Assault on Dragonspear (5e PBP) IC

One by one or in small groups, at the appointed time, the Daggerfordians made their way to the Ducal Castle (7). Many of them made their reunions in front of the Lizard's Gizzard (29) or or between it and the Morninglow Tower (18), but as they began to climb the steep hill toward the castle...

I will try to remember to point out where there is appropriate soil (and leave it to you to decide if it's appropriate to use the spell).

Good point! EDIT: Alright, I looked it up. Average Rainfall in Vancouver is 1189mm and in Ireland (I find it weird to compare a city to a whole large island, but I don't know where is wetter or not-so wet in Ireland, so close enough) it is 1230mm. So Ireland "wins"! (Though not by much!)

I think sometimes it's just the nature of typing and reading rather than speaking directly to people. For example, I'm pretty optimistic about this show.

I assume that you have much more experience with Ireland than you do with Seattle or Vancouver. At any rate, it's a silly thing for us to debate - they're both very very wet. And either way, filming just waits until the weather is good to film outdoors and shoots indoors when it's raining. IDK...

It's a really good question long-term. The answer so far seems to be: That depends - is the monster Dead? (Then yes, otherwise no.) A sickeningly large number of our "heroes" are actually monsters, and the rest are a mixed bag, like the rest of us. The mixed bag part is tricky, because it's...

This discussion will always remind me of 20 years ago, when HBO cancelled the show "Rome". Not because it wasn't popular. Not because it wasn't winning awards. But because they could make shows like "Extras" for much, much cheaper. To a network or streamer CEO the question isn't "Does it have...
