If you had the epic Keen Strike feat, by the description your unarmed attacks are considered slashing attacks that crit on 19-20. Since you have to have Improved Crit on your UA Strike, shouldn't you UA crit on 18-20? (crit only on 20 normally...then 19-20 w/ Improved Crit, then Keen making it...

See if your DM has Avariel elves in his campaign. They are winged elves who worship Aerdrie Ehlonna (sp? - think that is where the Quiver of Elhonna gets its name) the elven goddess of the Air/Birds/etc. That would solve your problem no question. Also, see about celestial armor's benefits...

Stoneskin, provided by the Strength(?) domain, also has an arcane material component. However, it is a 6th level spell for that domain. For a 2 level bump, I say it is ok to not have the component. That's my ten cents. My two cents are free.

The class is nice only because of the extra domains and the immunity to poison. The lay on hands is a joke compared to a paladin. The slippery mind is fair, mostly cuz your Will save will be atrocious anyway. And the SR is a real joke at 10 + contemplative level...it would take too many epic...

just my $.02 but... you could compromise between the two bonuses and just use the highest applicable bonus and add +1. I say this because of a pseudo-precedent in DotF with the Mysticism prestige domain - if you already get your CHR bonus to your saves, you only get +1 more. Don't forget that...

I agree with you that monster SR is not much of a deterrent versus higher level players..unless you are dealing versus other player-types as monsters/NPCs. A high level cleric with Spell Resistance cast up (not Shield of Law or it's equivalent) is not to be trifled with imho. Hadn't concidered...
