If 4th Edition didn't use the "D&D" moniker...

yes, i probably would buy it then. i love truth in advertising. for me, it won't be D&D. D&D stopped being produced in 1979.

Would you Swap 3.5e for Exalted?

yes. but that's only b/c the Mean Green Sex Machine (my old 71 monte carlo) has a lot of memories and can still beat the tar out of most cars on the road. but it sucks at the gas mileage (8mpg) and parts are hard to come by. :( on topic i'm keeping my old stuff.

Need ideas for a good Greed Trap

nymph in a bottle. she pleads to be released. the party good guys argue about the good thing to do. but releasing her will cause serious save vs die type stuff. edit: well blindness in the new edition.

WotC: Goodbye, Loren Greenwood, hello Greg Leeds

yup. where they (Gamekeeper and WotC) messed up was trying to corner their own stores. they overshot/overspent and bought into high rent mall stores. marketing a niche product. when it is in a store like Toys R Us or Kay Bee or even the book chains like Borders, Barnes & Nobles, or Waldenbooks...

:ditto: we are playing in a sporadic campaign. but we probably will continue playing it when we get around to it. it being the revised d02 game, not 4ed. otherwise we will play the other games we play. m&m, gurps, wh, dread, OD&D, etc...

Breaking News: Kuo-Toa Not Froggy Anymore

right. them too. i always pictured the sea devils aka sahuagin as the deep ones. all spiny and devoid of color. the kuo-toa aka fishmeng should be like spotted rockfish or groupers
