Cheesy? Maybe, though I don't know how to define cheese in a world where people fly around and throw fireballs at each other. But what's inefficient about them? And what do any of them have to do with the spiked chain?

On the contrary, my barbarian, who has the lowest AC in the group, managed to take out around 20 bugbears the other night without getting hit once. Two other party members died, and I just stood in the middle of the room cleaving away without breaking a sweat :)

Halfling rogues with a bunch of throwing daggers, quick draw, two-weapon fighting and rapid shot get really nasty. :)
