Hobgoblins rock! :cool: But for just the PHB I tend to go for Elves, mainly becuase I enjoy playing rangers/rogues and swashbuckling types. Elven nightvision and dex really helps out with those types. Admittedly playing a dwarven warrior with his axe or warhammer is a lot of fun too.

Actually Deadlands has giant mosquitoes, aka Texas Skeeters, in it and yes they are really nasty. (although they go down pretty fast when you have shotguns ready) :cool:

I always thought that the movie Excalibur had two great examples of Paladins: Galahad and Lancelot. Galahad being pure and noble finds the grail. Lancelot is the great warrior..until he sleeps with the king's wife (chosing love over honor) at which point he becomes a Fallen Paladin. Great...
