    D&D 5E (2014) Rogue (11) Multiclass options

I probably would have rather gone 5-8 levels or Ranger instead of Fighter, but 5-8 levels of Fighter would still be great. I'm actually playing a Battle Master Archer Fighter at level 6 right now and I think I'll jump over to Rogue eventually for a lot of levels. Will probably end up at least...

    D&D 5E (2014) Ultimate Barbarian....should I multiclass?

Here are a couple other off the wall ideas. If you rolled for stats and have a good Char(prob 16 or better), you could take 3 or 4 levels of Paladin of Devotion to get a fighting style, some extra healing, and be able to add your char mod to attack rolls not to mention a few spells you could...

    D&D 5E (2014) Ultimate Barbarian....should I multiclass?

Barb9/Fighter11 is the best IMO I especially like the synergy Champion gives you. Two fighting styles, double crit opportunity, and even Remarkable Athlete. You can max str and still have 3 feats. I think GWF and defense(if using armor) or Archery(if no armor) are the obvious choices. Of course...

    D&D 5E (2014) Zero Level Suggestions

In my party's first level 0 encounter, they fought a lone Gnoll. They raided a woodshed to find weapons previously and they came out with a sickle, a club, a broomstick(quarterstaff), some medium size rocks, and a hand crossbow with just 3 bolts. I allowed proficiency for everything but the...

How can they be level 0 and also be a class???

    D&D 5E (2014) Zero Level Suggestions

I ran a level 0 Campaign in which we used a stat array of 14, 12, 10, 10, 8, 6 set in a world where monsters, magic, and other races besides human did not exist. Weapons were uncommon and usually only guards and criminals carried them. Backgrounds were rehashed into career path ie guard, farmer...

Regular Barbarian as the fighter Barbarian that does NOT dump Int as the mage Barbarian that does NOT dump Char as the face Barbarian that does NOT dump Wis as the tracker Dex Barbarian as the sneaky one No healer necessary :)

    D&D 5E (2014) Question about potions

I have decided that for the more common potions, a taste and a insight/investigation/arcana check DC10 will let them know what it is and/or does. But the for the more rare potions, they'll need to take them somewhere or cast Identify. I'll probably give them hints based off of how well they roll...

    D&D 5E (2014) Question about potions

Hahahaha it's not like that. They didn't murder him at his house haha. They actually didn't murder him at all. He died by accident but none of that matters to what I'm asking. I need a way for them to figure out at least what most of them are. I'll leave at least a few up for surprise haha

    D&D 5E (2014) Question about potions

So my group is currently inside a Wizard's house looting the place. The wizard is dead, but potions were his specialty so there are numerous potions to be found. My question is, what is the best way for me to let the group find out what each potion does? Just roll checks for every one or make...

    D&D 5E (2014) What is the perfect Fighter/Barbarian multi-class balance?

How about a level 20 Fighter/Barbarian gestalt build? I'd have to go Half-Orc Frenzy Champion in this case. 6 attacks each round with advantage and a 15% chance of critting on each hit for 5d12+21 damage :)

Paladin of Vengeance as the Paladin Paladin of Devotion as the Paladin Paladin of the Ancients as the Paladin Paladin of the Crown as the Paladin ok I'm done :)

    D&D 5E (2014) Build an anti-stereotypical team of 4.

I realize you are talking about class, but I think it's worth noting that the racial makeup of one of my campaigns is Air Genasi, Lizardfolk, Warforged, Firbolg, and Dragonborn. For a party, I like, Bladelock or Bladesinger as the Fighter Light Cleric as the Blaster Lore Bard as the Healer...

    D&D 5E (2014) What is the perfect Fighter/Barbarian multi-class balance?

I wouldn't mind playing a high level Haff-Orc Champion/Barb crit fishing build one day maybe in a one shot campaign. I wouldn't want to play such a character in a long term campaign though.

    D&D 5E (2014) Best archer build?

Rangers make great archers too. Both Colossus Slayer and Horde Breaker are great for archery. I could see Volley being really strong under the right situation too. A Sharpshooting Deep Stalker/Assassin sounds REALLY fun. I was actually thinking about how fun a Ranger/Tempest Cleric Archer...

    D&D 5E (2014) Best archer build?

I can't decide between Fighter or Ranger and I can't help feeling like the "best archer" should have a some Rogue levels for sneak damage. I'm thinking 5-8 levels of Ranger or Fighter and then Rogue our from there.

    D&D 5E (2014) What is the perfect Fighter/Barbarian multi-class balance?

I think Fighter11/Barb9 is such an awesome sounding character. I especially like the synergy Champion gives you. Two fighting styles, double crit opportunity, and even Remarkable Athlete. You can max str and still have 3 feats. I think GWF and defense(if using armor) or Archery(if no armor) are...

    D&D 5E (2014) What is the perfect Fighter/Barbarian multi-class balance?

It's no surprise that these two classes mesh well with each other to kill things. So strictly thinking about a level 20 character, and not taking account of how we got there, what do you think the best balance would be? Fighter1/Barb19 - Gets you a fighting style, second wind, and heavy armor...

    D&D 5E (2014) [Poll] Ranger Satisfaction Survey

I think the Ranger is a pretty strong class especially after the revision. The Hunter archetype is specifically strong. The Beastmaster is much improved, but I wish you could choose between using the Beast's Coordinated Attack OR making a second attack with your Ranger. Even the Deep Stalker...

    D&D 5E (2014) [Poll] Paladin Satisfaction Survey

No class is perfect of course. Even the Pally could use some tweaks, but I still maintain that it is the strongest class from top to bottom.
