    Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Sidekicks

What did you do with all those ASIs? Max Str and Con? Did you give it any feats? Just curious because I thought about doing the same thing lol

    Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Sidekicks

If you could find a Brass Dragon Wyrmling(CR1), and were "good", you could very easily make friends with it. It would be a really cool sidekick, and would eventually be pretty powerful. I guess by RAW though even at level 20 it would still be "just" a wyrmling and while you could raise it's DC...

    Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Sidekicks

Oh and I can definitely see PC mount abuse from this. Think about all the CR1 and lower large beasts this opens up as a sidekick to ride on. Heck imagine a level 12 Warhorse "Warrior" sidekick with Plate armor and the Mobile feat. Every party should have a pride of warrior Lion...

I'll take a Giant Eagle Spellcaster(Cleric) sidekick please and thank you lol

    Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Sidekicks

I like the idea of sidekicks, and I like the idea of them having actual levels, BUT I do feel like they are too powerful. The spellcaster gets 8th and 9th level spells??? I think at most they should MAYBE get up to 5th level spells. I think low level slots that recharge on short rests would be...

D&D 5E (2014) Sorcerer Vs Wizard And Why its Closer Than You Think

Sorcerer's get a lot of hate, and I understand why, but at the same time, people like to ignore or are ignorant to just how powerful the Sorcerer can be. Mid to high levels Sorcerers are flat out unstoppable thanks to the variety of Metamagic uses, and they do eventually learn enough spells to...

    D&D 5E (2014) [5E] Looking for Feedback on L12 Warforged Barb/Fighter

Yes because Wis saves will be your biggest weakness.

    D&D 5E (2014) [5E] Looking for Feedback on L12 Warforged Barb/Fighter

Looks good. I recommend taking Res(Wis) pretty quick and then probably Ritual Caster for some good out of combat things to do.

    Optimizing a two person party

Valor + Moon would be best probably. Lore + Land would be the ultimate utility pair, but would possibly struggle if/when the time comes where they had to deal damage.

    Optimizing a two person party

Bard + Druid is the most obvious answer IMO I think a Chain Pact Warlock + Beastmaster Ranger would make a good duo for obvious reasons. I think a Cleric + Paladin would be an awesome duo even if both were sporting full Plate. So what would be the most challenging duo to play? How about...

Tempest Cleric Level 8 Choice (ASI or Feat)

I'd probably take the +2 Wis to get your DC up. I wouldn't want to be stuck with 16 Wis all the way until level 12.

    D&D 5E (2014) Brainstorming on a Duo group campaign (DM + 2 players)

Pets, familiars, and companions are even more valuable in 1 to 2 man parties as it's much harder to be surprised.

[Player Help] Lizardfolk: Interesting builds and class ideas are welcome and encourage.

I really like a Lizardfolk Monk. You do start slightly behind the curve in Dex, and the natural armor is wasted, but the bite is great and scales with Monk levels. Flurry of blows turns into Flurry of bites lol I also like the idea of a Lizardfolk Barbarian that doesn't so much "rage" as go...

Polearm Champion fighter 3 remaining ASI?

Every Fighter should pick up Ritual Caster at some point to have fun things to do outside of combat. Magic Initiate is good too.

D&D 5E (2014) Looking for Build Feedback Arcane Trickster and Gloom Stalker

I'd rather go Gloom Stalker 5 or 7/Assassin 13 or 15 with the Magic Initiate feat for Minor Illusion, Control Flames, and Find Familiar, Sharpshooter, Alert, and Elven Accuracy Take Archery and use a Longbow Your first turns would be brutal and it's easy to get surprise rounds from a...

    D&D 5E (2014) [5E] Melee/Dex Storm Sorceror Optimization

I agree that you could easily build a Dex based light or medium Armor Tempest Cleric But having said that, I think a Swashbuckler/Storm Sorcerer would be great fun. I'd go Tabaxi personally. I've played a Swashbuckler/Draconic Sorcerer and it was a great character.

Eladrin archer type: Bard or Rogue?

Fighter 1, Valor Bard 10 with Swift Quiver makes an excellent archer, but until you pick up Swift Quiver, it's only mediocre. I'd say just go straight Archer Fighter with a good Cha and take Magic Initiate: Bard. Or you could dip Warlock GOO and take the social invocations. Devotion...

D&D 5E (2014) [5E] Shadow Monk multiclass options - Warlock, Gloom Stalker, or neither?

Three levels of Gloom Stalker is REALLY strong for a Shadow Monk. Even moreso if you're able to use the Revised Ranger. That would be my pick hands down. Another option is to take 3 levels of Rogue. Expertise, Cunning Action, and 2d6 sneak damage is very good on a Shadow Monk. Cunning Action...

D&D 5E (2014) Need help with choices on a build.

Yes and even moreso when you try to combine it with the Polearm Master feat. It's one of the very few things technically RAW that I flat out won't allow at my table. It's that dumb.

D&D 5E (2014) Need help with choices on a build.

Yes don't be that guy and use a shield + quarterstaff in one hand + PAM. Go for a reach weapon and just take Defensive fighting style and you get half the Shield's AC right there.
