Can a Lich with Druid levels Shapeshift?

My impression was that Wildshape (now based on Alternate Form) no longer changes your type - so you'd look like a living animal, but be undead (and lack a Con score). -Stuart

d20 Stats for a Headless Horseman

No problem. For something in the CR 6-12 range, I'd probably stat him up as a formerly-human Rogue 3/Fighter 4ish with ranks in Ride and the Mounted Combat and Ride-by Attack feats. Stick him on a Fiendish (or skeletal) Warhorse. For a nastier version, make him a Blackguard and/or put him on a...

    PRC: Gifted Mage

[edit: wasn't paying attention to what you were responding to. sorry.] Well - two substandard feat choices, one of which (Practiced Spellcaster) is likely useless to you.... plus the loss of Wizard bonus feats and familiar advancement. I know. Multiclassing with spellcasters, though, is...

    PRC: Gifted Mage

Okay. The capstone ability was meant only to apply to the class that the GM spellcasting applies to - and to caster levels for those spells. I realize this is still broken. Here's a question, though: would it cease to be broken if it were a 10-level class with the capstone ability at level 10...

    PRC: Gifted Mage

The following is an idea for a five-level prestige class that I just thought up while thinking about the Abjurant Champion. Let me know how broken you think it is. -Stuart Gifted Mage Hit Die d4. Requirements To qualify to become a gifted mage, a character must fulfill all the following...

    Critique a Lizardfolk paladin/bard

Some thoughts: Skills - There's no reason you can't buy cross-class skills with your skill points from racial HD. Also, no Bluff or Intimidate for a political rabble-rouser? Saves - Should be Fort 7 / Ref 6 / Will 6, I think. -Stuart

    Good Bard/Paladin build?

If you can, you might want to consider Marshall instead of Bard - the Auras are faster to enact, improve with your Charisma, and all of your abilities are usable in heavy armor. -Stuart

d20 Stats for a Headless Horseman

What sort of CR are you looking at? You could always use a standard undead type - say a wight (with some ranks in ride - or maybe some class levels and mounted combat feats) on a skeletal horse (or a nightmare if you are feeling nasty). Say that it doesn't have a head (and is blind), but give...

If you mean a living +0 LA class, I'd use something like the Changeling from Eberron - and create a race-specific Fleshwarper prestige class. -Stuart

    What level spell

Well, that wasn't its primary intended use. There are tons of spells that can be used with this. Here are a few: Animate Objects Animate Rope Antipathy Arcane Lock Dimensional Lock Explosive Runes Fire Trap Glyph of Warding Grease Invisibility Sphere Light Mage Hand Magic Weapon Mending...

    What level spell

Okay. Some restrictions: - You cast a spell on the replica. It takes effect upon the actual item. The spell must be one which can target the actual item or a point in space occupied by an object (such as an emanation-type spell). Glyph of Warding works. Fireball doesn't. - The object the spell...

    Character Creator's Block

Picking up a cool Martial Strike from Bo9S via a feat (at 6th level or higher) might not be a bad idea. It would synergize well with Skirmish, since you wouldn't be making a full attack anyway. If you want to be terrifying in combat, you can always go Dervish eventually. -Stuart
