Feats are a valuable resource. So are the ability score points for the prereq for DIS. So you end up spending a feat and investing in DEX and investing in a secondary magical implement.

I like to let the defender (or whomever is being surrounded by enemies) suggest it. That seems so much more heroic... "wizard, center your blast on me...NOW!"

So a weapon user with bracers will get bonus damage and a variety of special abilities (high crit damage, etc.), depending on the weapon. But a staff of ruin user only gets some bonus damage.

I like tieflings; I think their fire resistance is a pretty solid ability (there are a lot of fire attacks in the game, and a lot of fire ongoing effects). Bloodhunt is useful because for about half the fight you'll be getting a delicious +1 to hit the opponent.

Yeah. Basically they are weaklings that almost become elves when they are bloodied. And when compared to longtooth shifters, there is no contest.

Warlocks are underpowered. But they make up for it by being the coolest class. And yes, implement users are gimped. Where is my brutal rod? Where are my bracers of +2 damage to all my attacks? Where is my high-crit orb?

No, ratcatchers are awesome. Resistance to disease and resistance to poison? Yes, please!

In my experience, divinations are useless. The DM will only give out the information he wants to... so the only time divinations are useful is when they are a plot device to send you on your way to an adventure.
