Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Are you interested in the Urban Druid variant in Sorcery & Steam? That's what my girlfriend (Becca Bot) will be playing.

You know you're playing too much when. . .

I don't really do too much of this in day-to-day livin', though sometimes my girlfriend makes cute D&D jokes. But I'm just chiming in to say that in my hometown of Versailles, Kentucky there's a street called Helm's Deep. No street, or road, or anything. Just Helm's Deep. (There's a castle...

Keep in mind I'm not allowing Heritage Feats. But any bonuses to Perform would apply to any Perform skills as per 3.5 rules.

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

When you're ready to submit your character for approval please put it in this format: http://www.enworld.org/attachment.p...achmentid=21419, and create a Rogue's Gallery thread with your PC in it. Post a link to it, and I'll approve/disprove it. :) EDIT: I also award some bonus XP for finding...

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

IMPORTANT NOTE! I said that Clerics didn't have proficiency in firearms, but I was totally wrong. Firearms in Sorcery & Steam are SIMPLE WEAPONS!

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Those look totally fine. :D There are matchlocks, flintlocks, and percussion cap firearms. Clerics don't have any proficiency in firearms off the bat, but you do have a slightly changed skill list -- Craft (Alchemy), Concentration, Diplomacy, Heal, Knowledge (Arcana, Religion, Steamcraft)...

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

I think we've only got one character confirmed, so totally have room here. :D But keep in mind anyone is free to submit a character, and if there are too many I'll just pick the most well thought out ones and let the rest be alts. Waddya mean by 0 for 2?

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Oooh, righteous. Everyone use the form that Bront here posted. Here's a link to the PDF for five bux: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=498. If you decide you wanna use guns, or make stuff, or wear steamcraft armor, just ask here -- or if you're lookin' for a...

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Does anyone have a good standardized format for PCs that people can use? I don't wanna have to keep up with a zillion different formats. :heh:

Looks rad, a few notes -- not being 18 wouldn't keep you from being able to fight professionally. You would have likely spent your training as an understudy of a pugilist, maybe one who took a liking to you due to your poverty, or family, or whatever. Sounds awesome. :D Wow, me likey.

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Read the above post for some steampunk info. Also head over to www.wikipedia.org and look up some stuff like 1800s, Victorian England, etc. Some good info there. As far as Monks, a Monk could be fine. Since there's no really Eastern-themed place (yet!) you could style him as a boxer/pugilist...

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

Well, only two dieties have come up in my two games: firstly, the Source. This is pretty much the de facto religion of Trenchtown, though the Empire is not a Theocracy. Essentially, the Source is sort of like Plato's realm of ideas -- an ethereal (not literally) place of already formed ideals...

Rivets Eternal: Metal Men and Fleshy Cogs (D&D3.5e; Closed!)

After much deliberation... welcome, to Rivets Eternal! In General! The World of Rivets: I'm a big fan of letting PCs come up with stuff for their characters and incorporating it into my world (if it works). So, a lot of Rivets has been contributions from one of the two other successful games...

Grr I am impatient. Okay, here's what's what. If you wanted ZOMBIES, whatever game I end up running I will work with as for having a zombie PC. But currently Rivets Eternal and A Fistful of Gilds are currently winning the votes of people who actually posted in the thread. So. Someone champion...

Oh yah, I have Libris Mortis, that big blue bastard. NEW TALLY: Rivets -- 7, Fistful -- 7, Zombies -- 6, Shipwrecked -- 1, Dark -- 3. I'll probably just go with standard narrative. It was just a wild idea. :D

    Is it over for me?

Oh we're teddy bears. My offer goes out to ALL San Diego gamers, though, seriously the bigger a gaming group the better. Me and my buddy are investing in a six foot table for gaming this weekend, too, so we need people to fill it. If I wasn't swamped with everything in the world right now I'd...
