    Excerpts: Angels

but this is what they were in previous editions, too. I mean, sure, when you look at a dark temple, you are forced to wonder "Hey, who staffs this pit of ebon despair?" -- and, yes, the only answer you come up with is demons. Or devils. Or yugoloths. Or whatever. But. This didn't stop the...

    Excerpts: Angels

Well... I hate to disagree with you, but I do. Because we already had that -- the devils and demons were, as you say, free agents. The real problem as I perceive it is that we already had this particular problem fixed with, as you say, demons & devils. Great. But now there's nobody to be the...

I'd challenge you to do better, but... :p I disagree. I feel that wearing green/leather/antlers and having green wisps of smoke about your person, whilst in a natural setting, is pretty good (read:blatant) shorthand for "this is nature magic". The picture could use a ferocious badger, though.

    Will all spells be attacks?

Definitely still in. We know utility powers exist, and the "higher level PCs table we got confirms. We have short range teleport jaunts, so no reason to deny a dimension-door-esque. Similarly, concealment; we saw the warlock got a concealment effect in any round they moved; no reason not to...

    1) our notions of trendy diverge 2) Actually, trendy advertisements look like these. No, seriously! Dramatic lighting, dramatic posing, a sense of purpose... which deserves that more, the scions of Gith or the clothes-horses of high street?

    Picture of the books

DO WANT MOAR. Those look fairly transportable. I do much of my gaming from a laptop; part of the Deciding Factor for me will be how they ship the electronic copies. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm buying those puppies, come hell or high water -- but part of what decides my level of back pain is the...

    Multiclassing via Feats. Thoughts?

Isn't a handful of feats morally equivalent to a write-up? It depends what the feats are, for me. My suspicion is that the first feat grants access to a class ability -- like sneak attack, from rogue -- and maybe a weapon prof, armor prof, skill rank, or similarly defining quality of the class...

    Why does WotC hate Macs?

    Multiclassing Speculation

Not so! You've been ultraclassed with wizard for 10 levels. If anything, I'd imagine it was the 11th level, gain an encounter ability, that would throw you. To which my response is "Meh. Gotta start somewhere." (Ultraclass: Like ultravision, but for classes! Next, infraclassing.)

    Excerpt: Paragon paths (merged)

Ew no. But I fail to see how a fighter at 10th level multiclassing with marsha-- I mean, warlord -- is a problem. Indeed, it strikes me as very 1st edition. This free multiclass is completely reasonable for a raft of classes -- fighter, paladin, cleric, wizard, and warlock can all supply some...

    Excerpt: Paragon paths (merged)

The Math -- in this context, when characters get stuff -- bugs me. It doesn't seem to follow rhyme or reason, though I'm sure that it does; it just seems really bursty. These look pretty cool to me. It's easy to see how the number presented grew so precipitously. I like :)

    Gods...

I like carving religions out of other religions. This may well be presented in the core books already, but if not, here are the religious ties I plan on using. Dragon-Gods (Old Gods, Astral Gods: The first ones, of the same rank as the Primordials, but of a different nature. The first...

Compiled info on upcoming classes & races

While you're right, there's a difference of degree. Maybe rogue is too broad, and needs to be narrowed to include less ninja. But as it stands, there's a lot in there, and if you took it out, the rogue would be anemic. Maybe fighter is too focussed, and needs less blademaster. But, again, as it...
